A moment of gentle perfection awaits, where time stands still. A serene, peaceful setting becomes the backdrop to a waking dream. Local vineyards, restaurants, and artisan producers shape a bucolic vision, French in the most romantic sense. Atavistic rhythms replace the modern pace of life, offering an oasis to relax, decompress, and recharge. This is the gem you need to discover. Thankyou Francois

We were greeted on arrival by the really friendly hosts, Nadine and Jean Luc, and given a tour of their wonderful property. The house is in a rural and peaceful location, with expansive views of the countryside. We arrived during a heatwave and were so grateful to have air conditioning in each room in the house. The patio area was huge and had an electric awning which provided shade, with steps down to the pool which was a great place for sunbathing and keeping cool. We saw plenty of wildlife while we were there, sometimes seeing deer in the garden and in the fields, and lots of birdlife coming and going. A short drive to Issigeac where we went for our bread and enjoyed the markets. Great hosts, great house, great location. We will be returning next year for sure.
Outstanding accommodation. We’ve been travelling for 3months and stopped in over 30 places and this was by far the best. Patricia was lovely telling us the property history and making sure there was plenty of provisions as it was a Sunday and bank holiday Monday so shops were closed. She had even lit the log burner for us so the place was lovely and warm. Everything is tasteful and comfortable.
The property is a delightful little terraced cottage that has everything required for any length of stay. It was immaculate and carried lots of old charm. Only a minute's walk to the beautiful plaza. A brilliant stay.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay, the house is beautiful and the owners are so welcoming and friendly. The kids loved feeding the animals and splashing around in the pool. Would love to come again!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Donna and Michael were very welcoming and recommended places/restaurants to visit and were always available if needed. However, they also respected our privacy.
The gite is very clean, spacious and beautifully furnished.
Breakfast on the decking watching the red kites over the trees and the heron passing over every day was wonderful.
We feel the gite would benefit from improved access rather than having to park a vehicle and then walk down a grassy slope and in front of their home. However, this wasn't a major problem and no doubt will be addressed at a future date.
We would recommend this gite in the countryside to anyone seeking a relaxing and peaceful break.
An enjoyable property that accommodated 6 adults and 3 children easily. The 4 bathrooms are modern and the kitchen is well equipped. The majority of the house was clean but the kitchen needed more attention which was disappointing but soon remedied. The outside space is generous and the view from the rear terrace is stunning.
What an absolutely amazing and special place to stay!
From our first contact with Claire with questions pre-booking, through Keiran's meeting of us on arrival, to our last morning and chats with both of them, Claire and Keiran were perfect hosts and clearly care about making sure their guests have the best possible time.
Everything about this house is fantastic, the fact that each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom was such a bonus and made a multi-generational holiday so much easier. The house is so well equipped, the kitchen in particular has everything you need. It was lovely to have an abundance of plates/mugs/glasses/cutlery rather than having to constantly wash-up (it's the simple things that make life so much easier!) We were a group of 14 plus we had 6 visitors for a celebratory meal and had more than enough crockery, glasses and chairs to go around.
The pool is so clean and heated to a perfect temperature, it was the highlight of the holiday for our grandchildren.
The list of positives about this house is endless - it's absolutely perfect for a large group (no close neighbours so didn't have to worry about noise!!) and very handy for Bergerac airport. We would definitely return if we had a large group holiday.
