Spiral stairs lead up to gigantic verandas with additional pub table & chairs, sun-tanning loungers and a telescope for sweeping vistas of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, all the way to Canada!

SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD: Stroll two blocks from home where you will find scrumptious restaurants, an expresso coffee shop, small store, deli and kid-friendly park. The night sky and stars are gorgeous in this quiet harbor-view neighborhood.

Please note that the balconies are accessed two ways: first from the outdoor patio via the spiral staircase and second through the master bedroom. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Please note that the upstairs queen bedroom and the main floor gameroom/twin bedroom are petite. Main floor twin bed is trundle- very small bedroom- best for children, has PACMAN ARCADE & PS3.

This home is gorgeously remodeled yet retains historic Victorian charm with unique spaces full of character and grace.

Guests must be comfortable with operating the pellet stove including lifting and pouring pellets into the stove top and climbing stairs.

We love to explore the pristine UNESCO Heritage sites here on the Olympic Peninsula. We enjoy kayaking, cycling, gardening and hiking. Hobbies include mural painting, photography, travel and archaeology. We are a semi-retired married couple and love hosting taking great pride in offering the highest service and caring interactions with our guests. We want you feel like the Victorian Retreat is YOUR second home.

Why they chose this property

The Victorian Retreat is located in “Harbor View”, an older residential neighborhood near the bluff with views of Canada. High end restaurants, kid-friendly parks and coffee expresso shops are walking distance to the house.

Ideally located near the bluff makes for enjoyable morning and evening quiet walks around the neighborhood with views of the Juan De Fuca waters, Canada, Victoria BC and San Juan Islands in the distance. The night stars are gorgeous and very visible in this neighborhood.

Favorite restaurants and 'things to do guide book' is available at the house along with hiking books.

We added an LED Happy Light therapy lamp as well as providing masks and hand sanitizer. Also available is a Bissell air320 Smart Air Purifier with HEPA and Carbon Filters plus our licensed professional cleaners use enhanced cleaning protocols.

Please note that the upstairs queen bedroom and the main floor bedroom are petite. The Master Bedroom upstairs is very generously spacious.

Additionally, please understand that this home is gorgeously remodeled yet retains it's historic charm with unique spaces full of character and grace. Guests must be comfortable with operating the pellet stove including lifting and pouring pellet bags into the stove top as well as accessing the balconies from the master bedroom or spiral stairs.
