My husband has allergies and he was impressed with how clean the unit was. The house was perfect for our group of two couples and a teenager. It was very peaceful on the farm. Not to far from a boat launch and beach with a family of river otters.
We had an incredible stay! There is something so special about waking up on a working equestrian farm; the peace and joy it brought our whole group was unlike anything we’ve experienced. The location served as a perfect home base for a family wedding, offering easy access to the National Park and fabulous kayaking adventures. It’s a rare treat to find a home that allows you to explore the land and sea so effortlessly while enjoying such a unique setting.
Alicia is a great host and everything was as advertised or better. We appreciated the fresh eggs and flowers and several other goodies. My son and I enjoyed Alicia showing us the barn and horses. And the trail at the base or the driveway made for pleasant evening walks. The porch was a favorite spot with comfortable seating for watching the comings and goings from house to the barn with a view across some fields and up the hill. The cottage, house, and barn are triangulated and there are comings and goings but it was not a bother. This was our 6th vacation to ONP and this is a nice jumping off point to everything.
Was a special stay. Very nicely appointed home, with gracious service from the hosts. Horse farm setting made for a great and memorable experience. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay on this picturesque property. It was perfectly located near Olympic National Park and the ferry to Victoria, B.C. The home was sparkling clean and so comfortable with many charming details and special touches we very much appreciated. We hope to return!
We had a wonderful stay on the farm with all of the beautiful horses, dogs, kids, chickens and roosters. The house was cozy and well appointed, beds very comfy and so many nice touches throughout the house. Alicia was so very nice and helpful. We will certainly be coming back again !
Perfect for the 5 of us. Place had everything you could think of ane more. Loved the farm and seeing the horses from the deck. Amazing stay! Highly recommend.
This property had everything you could need! The property owner had amazing touches of the stay everywhere from scone mix to a bottle of wine to extra toiletries. It was such a pleasant place to come back to after long days of hiking. I would highly recommend staying here!
The house was so clean, comfortable, and lovely. Lots of amenities and add-ons. Alicia took care of all the details and made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful visit and didn’t want to leave. Thank you!
Wonderful place that had everything we needed. Enjoyed the quiet at night by the fire and a place to relax during the day. Our host was helpful and kind and we were close to everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.
This was our second time at the farm cottage, we love this place. The cottage is exceptionally clean and comfortable and the host treats her guests with extras, more than any other place we have stayed. Location was wonderful for exploring the Olympic Peninsula and seeing all the animals on the farm was the highlight of each day.
We loved everything about this home! Sparkling clean, beautiful surroundings on equestrian farm, very easy access to mountain bike trails and ONP and thoughtful touches throughout the home made us want to spend so much more time here! We spent our days hiking and biking and came home to cook for the family in the very well appointed kitchen. Alicia is the most welcoming host, we certainly home to come back again in the future!
Loved the cottage and our stay! Didn't want to leave! Pics do not do its cuteness and coziness justice. Hosts were great! The kids loved meeting the puppies! Several days later and they are still talking about it! I thought the most recent vacation rental we stayed in would be hard to beat but this one was even cleaner. Cleanest place we have ever stayed. If we ever return to the area we will be sure to stay here.
We have stayed at several vrbo properties and have to say this was our favorite. The decor is beautiful and the cleanliness was exceptional. Alicia was a fantastic host and gave us a tour of the barren where we met all the horses and their hysterical personalities. If I could have stayed forever I would have! Great location for exploring the Olympic Forest. Will definitely be back! Thank you Alicia and Theo
This place was beautiful. We loved looking at the horses in the evening as we sat on the deck by the gas fire pit. The house was perfectly equipped and the gift of a bottle of wine and chocolates was a wonderful surprise . If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
If you're looking for a sparkling clean and well-stocked rental, this place can't be beat. The farm fresh eggs and scone mix and chocolates by the beds that the owner left were a nice touch! We were able to go to all the main spots in Olympic National Park from here and ventured into town several times as well. We loved driving to the end of the main road by the house and watching otters and bald eagles in the evenings. It was overall a great rental!
My husband and I, and another couple, spent three nights at the cottage. The location was perfect for exploring ONP. The furnishings and beds were super comfortable and the home was sparkling clean. The owners home and a horse barn are on the same property, so we had a chance to watch the horses being cared for and talked to Alicia a bit. She's a cool cat. Everything about the home made us feel welcome and spoiled. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Farm Cottage during our trip at ONP. From Seattle, it took us approx 3.5 hours to get here. This was our first leg of the trip at ONP. The cottage is on a farm with different animals and the home was very spacious and had everything we needed for two nights. Alicia was a great hostess and communicative. She provided a dozen of fresh eggs and her home was set up with everything! We were grilled dinner on our first evening (Safeway Port Angeles isn’t far) and even had the chance to do a load of laundry before packing up. The cottage was close to the Hurricane Ridge hiking trail (approx 45 mins away) and Sol Duc, Lake Crescent, and the Salmon Cascades.
Our stay at Alicia's farm was absolutely fabulous. Alicia communicated with us consistently and was genuinely concern about our late arrival. The house was well stocked and had all the extras you could think of and more! Everything worked well and the design and lay out was perfect. The farm had so many things to enjoy, kittens, horses, chickens, bunnies, other children to play with and more. Alicia gave us great recommendations and was an absolutely perfect host. We would definitely return if in the area again. Thank you Alicia for a great stay!!
This property was perfect for my family. My husband and I had our three teenage kids with us during our venture to Olympic National Park. The property was spotless and Alicia provided LOTS of thoughtful extras such as blueberry scones, blueberry jam, a fresh container of half and half for our coffee in the am, bottled waters, chocolates, and the list goes on. Theo the cat visited us every night which the kids loved! The property was comfy and quiet. Definitely the most well stocked rental that we’ve ever stayed in. Would definitely stay again if we ever go back to Olympic!
The house was spotless and was more than enough space for my family of four. The host let the kids get involved with brushing the horses and we got attached to Theo the cat. The gas fire pit was perfect for the cool nights. The house was well appointed with anything you could possibly need. Perfect location for the wide range of things to do around the national park. First time staying on a VRBO property with the owner, but you have all the privacy you need. The owner is just a call or text away if you need anything. Don’t pass this one up!
