Rose Cottage, 2022
Overall the property was good. Was in need of some care and cleaning. Sat down as soon as we arrived and my hand touched peanuts and dog hairs in the sofa. Was not pleased and it set me on edge. Outside, the gardens needed attention to overgrown hedges, plants and dirty surfaces, just not lovely to look at or appealing. Once we had settled in it became less of an issue but still poor. Stairs a bit steep for us but not an issue really. Leaking gutter above bathroom annoying after rainfall. Loose sink in bathroom. Seaton itself was tired with part of seafront under construction and eateries having no chefs!! Let down by lack of amenities. Overall rating reflects all of this.

Positive experience but room for improvement
Location excellent for amenities but noisy because of main road. Garden furniture rusted, parasol base broken, table too small to use for outdoor eating. Mattresses not very comfortable. BUT we enjoyed our stay because of good weather!!
