Fantastic weekend away

Loved staying at the lodge and on the marina. Relaxing placeto stay in a beautiful setting with a short drive to the city.

We enjoyed a short break here, for us it was perfectly situated near the park to walk the dogs.

We enjoyed a short break here, for us it was perfectly situated near the park to walk the dogs. We couldn’t believe how many pots, pans etc there were, plenty to cook a decent meal with.The lodge is really well presented and very comfortable. The beds for some were comfy for others too soft. We would love to return in warmer weather and enjoy the outside space.

Lovely stay

Great place for our family get together. The lodge was comfortable, clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, lots of homely touches, board games for the children and good WiFi. The lodge is in a nice quiet setting and only a short walk from the Marinas pub, cafes and shops.

Third Visit to Marina

Rental process straightforward, this is our 3rd visit in the last 5 months due to visiting Royal Derby hospital and living on South coast. First time in this lodge, which is one of the newer ones. Lovely welcome pack Chocs,Cava and treats for the dog. Very clean, well equiped, and quiet there is some background noise from the A38 but it's minimal Highly recommended.
