The lodge was perfect.

The lodge was perfect. The area around was lovely with well kept gardens Nice to watch the narrow boats coming and going.There are a few small shops to walk around,although could have been a bit more disable friendly on entry.If you are self catering it pays to take as much food as you can because you can only buy basics in a small shop.Otherwise you have to drive to the supermarket which isn't far but a long way to walk. We drove into Bakewell a few times,it is well worth a visit.Although we enjoyed our stay we are not interested in going again
