Beautiful house in a beautiful county

We stayed at the Yellow House for only one night on a busy trip across Ireland but we all wished we'd listened to Jimmy and spent a couple of days there. The house is beautiful and clean and everything it is described to be in all of the favorable reviews.

Great house/Great location!

Property ideally located for Westport and for touring the surrounding area eg Achill island and Louisburgh. House well furnished and very comfortable . Owner very helpful. Definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful, cozy property

Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll.

Fantastic stay at the Yellow House

A wonderful, large, well-kept and very homely property in a beautiful and quiet location. Excellent beaches, hiking and cuisine in close proximity. Just a short drive to amenities in Aughagower and Westport, and to the sights of Co. Mayo further afield. Lovely large gardens for playing with the family, or simply for socialising. Hosts were great too - we would happily book to stay here again. Thank you!

CANNOT FAULT!

CANNOT FAULT! The Yellow House was ideal for our family holiday, in gorgeous surroundings and in the most perfect location for Westport. A true home from home, with everything provided for a comfortable and very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a visit to this most beautiful part of Mayo. Great Place for family reunion

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Yellow House just outside of Westport, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family and friends. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the Irish countryside. The house itself is spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of traditional Irish charm and modern amenities. Each room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing plenty of space for our group to relax and enjoy. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic outdoor area. We loved spending evenings on the patio, taking in the stunning sunsets, and enjoying the fresh air. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals and enjoy them together around the large dining table. Our host Jimmy was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to Westport and its many attractions. We particularly enjoyed hiking The Reek and the charming town of Westport with its lively pubs, shops, and historical sites. The scenic drives and the proximity to beautiful beaches made our stay even more special. Overall, the Yellow House exceeded our expectations in every way. We left with wonderful memories and a strong desire to return. If you're looking for a perfect getaway in the Irish countryside, this is the place to stay.
