Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, San Gimignano, and Siena are all less than an hour’s drive away, while just a few kilometres from us are fascinating historic villages such as Vinci (the birthplace of Leonardo), Cerreto Guidi (home to a Medici villa listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site), San Miniato, and many others. In 15 minutes, you can reach the Montecatini Thermal Baths with their purifying waters and the Monsummano Caves with their hot mud. Just 60 km away, you’ll find the beaches of Versilia (Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio), and a little further on, the marble quarries of Carrara, where Michelangelo selected the raw material for his works of immeasurable beauty.
Lovers of outdoor activities—whether by bike or on foot—will be spoiled for choice between the rolling Tuscan hills, rich in vineyards and olive groves, or the Padule di Fucecchio, Tuscany’s largest natural oasis and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. A beautiful 18-hole golf course is located just 8 km from us.

The space
The apartment is located on the ground floor. After climbing a flight of stairs, you’ll reach a large covered terrace with sliding glass doors, which serves as a pleasant relaxation area, complete with a table, chairs, and comfortable armchairs, a ceiling fan, and views of the pool and the countryside. The kitchen is comfortable and spacious, fully equipped with all appliances and an extendable dining table. The living room is very spacious, featuring two sofas, a TV, and an area with a large desk perfect for work or study. Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. The kitchen and living room are air-conditioned! The sleeping area is separated from the living area by a door. The three bedrooms all feature air conditioning, mosquito screens, and window shutters to completely darken the rooms. The two double bedrooms also have ceiling fans. The bathroom has a very large shower and is equipped with a bidet. There is also an utility room with a private washing machine. Hardwood floors in every room. The apartment is equipped with a safe. We provide a full set of bed linens and towels for all guests. A cot and high chair for your child are available free of charge upon request!
Guest access
Our guests have free access to the pool and a regulation-size synthetic grass tennis court. They also have access to a gazebo with a table, chairs, and lounge chairs by the pool, as well as a barbecue for great grilling! There’s also a ping-pong table, foosball, and games for kids!

Other things to keep in mind
La Casa delle Rondini consists of two apartments, one on the ground floor and the other (the subject of this listing) on the ground floor. Both apartments have a private entrance, a dedicated parking space, a gazebo, and a barbecue for exclusive use, all of which are always available. Each apartment has its own washing machine and clothesline. There are always enough poolside lounge chairs for all guests. The pool, tennis court, and garden with playground equipment are shared with any guests staying in the other apartment.
