Outstanding modern accommodation in a rustic setting

Spacious , modern, very clean and very comfortable accommodation. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Being up the mountain, we loved that we were removed from the hubbub of town.

Villa Pica is a fantastic and peaceful property located high up in the mountains overlooking Avola. Marco was fantastic with us and helped us in many ways: he brought us speakers to play music, he booked taxis for us to go wherever we want and was very responsive and polite. This is a great getaway property for small groups / couples / families. Highly recommended.

Often pictures make a property look better than it is, not in this case. The house and location are stunning so peaceful and private. It was our first time in Sicily and a great choice. There was only 4 of us, so the house was bigger than we needed, but the pool and privacy were such a draw that we decided to book it anyway, it was a good choice. Would book again. Host was responsive and pleasant, faultless experience.

Review for stay from 05 July 2023 to 12 July 2023

This is an excellent Villa with a great pool and extremely well kitted out. It is nice to turn up at Villa where you don't have to go out and buy dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, charcoal, firelighters etc. Our host Marco was extremely helpful and even arranged for a lift to Syracuse when we had a problem with our hire car. The only downside was the lack of nearby restaurants, a hire car is essential. There is one restaurant 500m away and one 5 minute drive, otherwise it's self catering or drive to either Noto or Avola. The restaurant 5 min drive away is based on a small farm where you can also by home grown produce and preserves and the food is typical Sicilian.

Review for stay from 04 September 2023 to 08 September 2023

Fantastic location and surroundings. Lovely garden and the most beautiful pool area, secluded and scenic at the same time. spotless clean on arrival. A little bit off the beaten track, but that is a bonus. On a hill, the air is a bit cooler and the garden is shaded. Lots of things to do and explore nearby, including incredible gorges. Kitchen has Everything you need, we cooked at home every day.Very nice bedrooms, both upstairs and downstairs. Quiet, no noises. Greta sleep. You can open the metal shutters, at least downstairs. Bathrooms Very good, all new.Secluded but you do not feel isolated, as there are people living in houses nearby. Owner Very approachable and easygoing.

Villa Pica was the perfect choice for our family, offering a peaceful and private retreat in the beautiful countryside near Avola. The pool was fantastic, surrounded by lovely scenery and complete privacy, with no overlooking properties. There were plenty of sun loungers and comfortable seating, as well as a shaded area that was perfect for escaping the midday sun. The villa itself was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed, including fast and reliable Wi-Fi. Although the villa is reached via a steep, winding road into the hills, the drive is absolutely worthwhile. The tranquility, stunning surroundings, and complete privacy make it a truly special place, while all the shops, restaurants, and amenities in Avola are just a 10-minute drive away. A special thank you to Marco, who was outstanding throughout our stay. We booked at very short notice on the same day due to an issue with our previous accommodation, and he had the villa ready for us within just a few hours. He was incredibly helpful, ensuring we made the most of our stay, and even offered a flexible and hassle-free check-out. We couldn't have asked for a better host and would highly recommend Villa Pica to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Sicily.

Piękna willa, spokój i cisza w okolicy.

Sehr tolle Villa mit allem was man benötigt in bester Qualität.
