Amazing Viila

We had an amazing stay, the villa is clean and well stocked. Nice neighbourhood and close to shops up the road which are well stocked.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable! The view was a little blocked by another house’s roof but you could still see the ocean. It was a bit too challenging at first up get to and from the villa because the roads were so steep and there was an ongoing road construction that blocked easy access to the house. Once we learned various ways, we were fine. I wish I knew about requesting to preheat pool in advance as the pool was quite cold even during warm days. I found out about 1-week notice only when we already checked in. The town of Calheta was very convenient too with great waterfront restaurants. I’d highly recommend the property to anyone who wants to visit Madeira!

We appreciate your comments regarding the roadworks and access. Unfortunately, temporary roadworks are outside our control, but we're glad you were able to find alternative routes during your stay. Regarding the pool heating, we always send our guests an email before arrival asking whether they would like to add pool heating, as it needs to be arranged in advance to allow enough time for the pool to reach a comfortable temperature. We're sorry that this seems to have been overlooked in your case. Thank you again for your recommendation. It was a pleasure to host you, and we hope to welcome you back to Madeira in the future!
