Lovely apartment

We booked this apartment as it was local to our family. It was a great apartment, large, well fitted and immaculately clean and well maintained - it looked like new!Getting keys and access was easy. It was great value for a Christmas break

Highly recommended

As a family, we have holidayed in the Vila do Bispo region of The Algarve on numerous occasions and stayed in many different properties over the years, including several at the neighbouring San Antonia (Parque da Floresta) resort. In terms of the amenities provided, large room sizes throughout, location and views offered, Casa Ensolarada was an absolute joy to stay in and is highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

The amenities were poorly maintained. We discovered black mold in all rooms, exterior lighting did not work, kitchen utensils lacking or not fit for use. Had to pay for a linen and towel change when staying for a month.

Due to the extreme weather changes we experienced in Portugal during your stay, increased humidity can sometimes appear. We are glad that once this was brought to our attention, our cleaning team was able to address it right away. We understand that cleaning services can vary between properties. In this case, arrival and departure cleaning are included, while additional services such as mid-stay cleaning or linen changes can certainly be arranged, but come at an additional cost. Lovely family stay

This is a large, well equipped house in a small resort development. The house is lovely with everything you need and more than big enough for our 5 adult family. The village is quieter and less touristy than some in the Algarve but with that came more of a Portuguese feel. The nearby villages of Salema and Burgau were well worth a visit. Whilst I understand costs need to be controlled, having fresh bedding/towels during a 2 week stay would be nice. Also, although we don’t want to watch tv all the time on holiday, having to bring another device was an unusual restriction that we haven’t experienced before.

Not the best experience!

Check in was great. We checked in a bit earlier. But as soon we came into the house...what a smell. It's a mixture of old..molt an not having fresh air. The bathroom on the 1st floor was smelling like it never had been cleaned. Shower here wasn't working great. As we entered the kitchen it didn't look like it was cleaned well. We contacted the team, they sent us cleaners the next day. Furniture was old and need to be renewed. The house is spacious and is overviewing the golffield

Indoor not warm enough for February

The aircondition has not enogh power for outdoor temperatures less than 15 degrees Celsius, because the main room is not seperated from the upper and lower floor and the ceiling is too high. Many doors needed pressure to get open, especilally the main entrance door.TV management difficult.

Haustüre konnte bei Ankunft nicht geöffnet werden-Waschmaschinentürenhalterung war kaputtNach Gewitter war das Bett nass, da Wasser durch die Deckenleuchte auf das Bett flossTV nach Gewitter: Neuprogrammierung notwendig, wurde aber nicht ausgeführt.Toilettengarnitur war nicht sauberDie Sauberkeit im Haus ließ zu wünschen übrig und die Putzutensilien waren alt und auch nicht vollständig Wegen der Mängel wurde uns eine finanzielle Entschädigung gegeben. In einem besseren Zustand wäre das Haus sehr angenehm.
