Brilliant group of properties in a lovely setting. Really interesting history. Fantastic main room - great for celebrations/gatherings. Well stocked and easily accommodated our group of 19 adults and 1 dog. We had lovely weather but would have been very useful if the weather was poor. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Would thoroughly recommend for a large gathering of family and friends.

Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed. The fittings, linens, rugs etc are all very high end and all the properties are spacious with lovely sitting areas and kitchens.
The booking process and all communications with Lady Laura were easy and she was extremely accommodating. We had in house catering for most meals, which were delicious and plentiful and certainly much more fun, relaxing and convenient than going out. We were able to have a great dinner in splendid surroundings with our own wine and games afterwards. A great time was had by all. All the staff we met were welcoming and really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time.we hope to he back!
