Please note: This property has a security deposit of £100.. This characterful cottage, in the middle of the row, is a good place to explore the local area. It is located in East Burton in the middle of Thomas Hardy Country, between Swanage and Weymouth, in this popular part of Dorset and only 5 miles from Lulworth and Durdle Door. It has been furnished with an eclectic mix of antique furniture and memorabilia with historic links to the railway close by. Inside it is like taking a step back in time! The cosy living/dining room has plentiful beams and rugs on wooden floors. It is surrounded by rural countryside and is just a short drive to the Jurassic coastline, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The seaside town of Swanage nearby offers a beach, boat trips, Durlston Country Park and steam railway. Locally there is Monkey World and the Tank Museum. The nearby village of Wool with its small selection of village shops, from a bakery to a butchers, also offers a convenient train station. Beach 4½ miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
