Great Location!

The apartment was very clean and good size for our family of 3 adults. The location is fantastic - 5 minute walk to the piazza del duomo and shopping and artsy neighborhoods in the other direction. Will stay again when back in Milan!

As advertised and even better.

We had the trip from hell and because of a flight delay missed our scheduled train and ended up arriving 3 hours later than agreed. They were great in accommodating our tardiness and Gianluca was great. From a thorough walk through and help with some special transportation, they went out of their way to assist. The apartment itself is amazing. Comfortable, clean with a European vibe in the heart of the Duomo District was a perfect place to be close to trains and other public transportation to whisk you to the train station and points beyond. And the food selections…..restaurants galore!!!! We can’t recommend this place enough. Milano is awesome.

The apartment was PERFECTLY located for our purposes- walking distance to La Scala, the Brera, and the Duomo. It contains interesting, and eventually compelling, modern art. The large rooms have parquet floors, high ceilings and comfortable beds. The furniture is elegant but it is very sparsely furnished - there is nowhere for more than 2 people (on the same couch) to converse. We had to move two large square seats (hidden beds) and a couch closer together to talk with friends. The couch and chairs in the hall were fine to use to take our shoes off, but are on opposite sides of a good sized room. The kitchen had only the very basics to reheat food. (AI helped explain how the appliances worked!). The apartment is on the busiest walking fare in Milan and it is noisy at all times (street cleaning and trash pick up at night!). The windows are heavy and keep much of the noise out but only if you're happy with air conditioning all night (I'm not, but if you are, be sure that you understand how it works!). The back room (2 twins) is quieter but, if you leave the windows open, you have to contend with both some noise and mosquitos. The management company was very responsive to our needs.

The apartment’s location, within easy walking distance of landmarks such as Duomo di Milano, Teatro alla Scala and the Brera and Fashion district, is one of the aspects our guests value most. We are very happy to know that you appreciated the apartment, its spacious rooms, the parquet floors, and the art. During your stay we did our best to make sure you felt comfortable and well assisted at all times, and we are glad that our responsiveness was helpful. As you mentioned, the apartment overlooks a pedestrian street — in fact the main pedestrian streets in the very center of Milan leading directly to the Duomo. This means there is naturally a lively atmosphere in the area. The windows are sound-insulated, as you also noted, and help reduce much of the outside noise. Regarding the kitchen, it is equipped with the essentials, and we were happy to promptly provide explanations and references for the use of the appliances during your stay — thank you for mentioning and appreciating that. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you again on your next visit to Milan.
