Very thoughtfully appointed guest cottage, with lots of little extras (like several flavors of tea, and even suggested itineraries and points of interest), will feel like your own little home on the island.

The property was so quaint and beautiful. The owner had teas, coffee, syrups, and even some milk in the fridge. It also has a washer. This was our favorite place the whole trip! Definitely recommend!

Great property for a couple.

Very well appointed property, spotlessly clean and fresh. Plenty of toiletries for guests convenience and lovely soft towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and when the coffee machine developed a fault, Gemma had it replaced and upgraded within a couple of hours with a terrific machine which kept me suitably caffeinated for our stay. Great host.

Excellent host - not intrusive but keen to help where able. The property is clean and welcoming and provides a good base to explore Lewis (and Harris) Good easy walks available locally from the property but also a good site from which to experience the island (I cannot vouch for the public transport situation)

GREAT STAY WITH LOTS OF HOME COMFORTS

We cannot say enough about how pleasantly surprised we were when we entered Peninsula Cottage. Not only was it beautifully cosy and spotlessly clean there was everything you could think left for our use in this lovely cottage. Ranging from a selection of coffee syrups & fab coffee machine to bubble bath, shampoo and conditioner. We felt straight at home and had a wonderful night’s sleep – so sad to leave the next morning for our onward travels. Thank you so much for all the thought you have put in to making it a relaxing break.

Too short and sweet..

The property was fabulous.. much larger than expected.. lots of little unexpected extras like tea, coffee, sugar, shower gel, etc... and even fresh milk in the fridge.. Great location, only 10 mins by car from the ferry port.. Harris and Lewis was beuatiful and i wouldn't hesitate to stay at Peninsula Cottage again... thank you.
