December in Óbidos

We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink. It was so small we ended up using the kitchen sink to brush our teeth, wash our faces, clean/change my contacts. The kitchen was not well equipped- it did not have the basics of salt or pepper! The property manager (FeathersHouses) was quick to respond to our concern re the bathroom sink but did not repair/install a stopper and I continued to use the kitchen sink.

We are very sorry that we couldn't fulfil your needs as expected. As property managers, we try our best to prepare the accommodation to receive our guests, and in this sense we will recommend to the owner that some improvements may be important. We have taken into account your remarks and will use it in order to improve the stay of the next guests. As far as the sink seal is concerned, we've managed to find a solution to keep the water out. Super Lage

Die Wohnung liegt innerhalb der Burg Obidos und hat den unschätzbaren Voreil, dass man Obidos genießen kann, wenn die Masse der Besucher noch nicht da oder schon wieder weg ist.Man muss außerhalb parken und lauft ca 10 min zur Wohnung. Wg Treppen und grobem Kopfsteinpflasten nicht für Trolleys zu empfehlen Die Wegbeschreibung ist ungenau.Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Sehr nette Kontakte zu den GastgebernSehr empfehlenswert
