Dog friendly, fenced yard, sitting on the shore of Oxbow Lake

Sitting on the south side of the lake, Oxbow cottage has 70 feet of beautiful lake front with a 40ft dock. the north side of the lake is state owned and home to wildlife and gorgeous mountain views. Surrounded by hiking and snowmobile trails Oxbow offers great year round adventures for the outdoors enthusiast.
The Cottage
full foundation, insulated and updated with modern amenities, including washer/dryer, propane furnace, and dishwasher allowing for rural scenery with urban luxuries. Centrally located in the Adirondacks and mimicking Adirondack style, the cottage has wood floors and walls and rustic decor.
Outdoors
A large patio with outdoor furniture, gas grill, picnic table, fire pit and chairs offer relaxation next to the water's edge. Swimming and sunbathing, 2 kayaks for use as well as, fishing poles. Across the lake is a popular rope swing for those seeking extra water fun.
Fall
The falls foliage is breathtaking along the lake and mountain views across the lake.
Pets
The yard is fenced in for pets.
We keep our cottage clean and request the same from renters. No Pets on the furniture please.

This 4 night stay was amazing. It’s hard to put into words….the lake, Oxbow Mtn welcoming you every morning, and all the hikes and more that you could ask for. Definitely would come again.

Absolutely lovely little spot on the lake. The porch was so peaceful even with a little bit of rain. Wishing we had spent another day or two.

Better than expected! Very quiet location with only a few motor boats moving through. Which was great because our 13 and 15 year old were out every day in kayaks. Cabin was very clean and smelled like pine. Dog bowls, leash, crate, beds and gate available if we had needed them. Plenty of dishes, linens etc. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything we needed. It was perfect for our family of six.The setting is beautiful, with both mountain and lake views that made it easy to relax. We especially enjoyed spending evenings around the fire pit and gathering around the large table for family dinners and games. Our family also had a great time fishing at the lake.The home had everything we needed for a memorable getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly vacation!

Not able to enjoy the outside as it was too cold and windy. Would like to come again in early fall to enjoy the firepit and sit out by the water. Description was accurate. Inside was cozy, everything we needed was there, great view of the lake and mountain. Cabin was clean and well maintained.

This place is perfect. The area is very quiet. It was great to walk outside and just get in the water. There is plenty in the kitchen for cooking and eating and enough supplies to get started such as trash bags and paper towels and TP. Would absolutely stay here again

Perfect lakeside retreat.

The property was very clean with all of the necessary accommodations. A beautiful location, right on the lake. This is a great place to be snowed-in and I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer.

Best rental ever! Clean, comfortable & very well laid out both inside & out. Firepit on the lake edge with very comfortable chairs. The deck/porch was great with cushioned furniture. The fenced in yard was fantastic for our 2 dogs. Hope we can return next fall.

My husband and I have been looking for the perfect lake front property for a few years and Oxbow Cottage is it.

Oxbow Cottage sits right on Oxbow Lake with level ground. The cottage has been fully updated from a seasonal camp to a year round house and sits on private Oxbow lake located between Lake Pleasant and Piseco Lake offering all the local summer and winter outdoor activities and beautiful scenery.
