The house was easy to find (UBER) and although a fair walk to the Old City and the Medieval City, in the searing heat of August, we manged pretty well without a car.WE found Dan and Christine quick to respond to queries. The house, garden and pool were all clean and we had pool cleaners twice during our stay. Everything we could have wanted, and more, were available in the house. A large fridge and freezer were a blessingThe pool was a godsend in the 38-42 degrees we "enjoyed" on our visit, as was the aircon.The house and garden were extremely family friendly and the kids loved every minute we were there.A BBQ would have been an advantage.We would definitely stay again.

Lovely villa which was very well equipped

We were very pleased when we arrived at the villa. It was very clean, extremely well equipped and very family friendly. The pool was very clean and we loved that there was a large gate that could be used to shut off the pool making it very safe for children.

Lovely, spacious comfortable house. Well equipped with everything you need especially in the kitchen.5 minute drive to both big hypermarkets and easy to get on the ring road and head out further afield. Easy walk into Carcassonne and the train station.Dan and Christine are very responsive to messages. Great stay overall.

We stayed here for a week, and had a really good time ( me, my husband, our 18 yr old twin and their girl/boyfriend)The swimming pool can be a little bit chilly on cloudy days, but it was really refreshning on the hot days. (Little shout out to the friendly poolguys who keep the pool clean twice week.) Thanks to the airco on the hall upstairs, it was also comfortable sleeping. Despite the house is located in a residential area, it was really quiet during the day/ evening. There's a bakery on a 15 min walk.The town was about a 20 min walk, with the restaurants on Place Carnot. The weekly market on Thursday was a little bit disappointing because it was really really small... The medieval town was a 50 min walk, but it was worth it... You really have to visite it.. not only for the castle, but also for the little shops and the restaurants. If you have questions, the owner Christine always responds really quick.

Relaxing Stay

This lovely villa is like home from home. Very well equipped and comfortable. Pool is lovely... Clean and a good size for cool dips in the hot sun. Garden has shaded areas too. Information provided useful details and all communication was helpful and prompt. A Lidl is within a 5min walk meaning this is great if you don't have a car. Villa was clean and spacious and some great extras such as books and playing cards and pool toys which we didn't use as had brought ours but a thoughtful addition. . The town is a 25 minute walk away and the old city a further 20 mins. A really lovely villa for a relaxing break for a family. equipped

Un excellent séjour dans une maison avec des prestations de qualité, piscine très agréable et bien entretenue. Un extérieur très agréable. Par contre. le bloc de climatisation en haut de l escalier ne refroidissait pas très efficacement les chambres dont on devait laisser les portes ouvertes toute la nuit et dommage qu il n'y ait ni plancha, ni barbecue. Proche de la gare et de la cité.

Excellent sejour

Location tres agreable, tres bien située pour visiter Carcassonne et les alentours. La grande piscine, la maison qui sait garder la fraîcheur et la climatisation nous ont permis de passer une tres bonne semaine malgre la canicule.

Séjour parfait

Belle maison avec de beaux équipements. La piscine et la climatisation sont appréciées. Nous pouvons aller à pied au centre ville (1/2 heure). Les propriétaires sont sympathiques.

Très bon sejour

La maison est bien située, et agréable. Parfait pour un sejour en famille. Terrasse ombragée et super piscine. Nous n'avons pas du tout souffert de la chaleur grace à une bonne isolation de la maison et un usage modéré de la climatisation. Les propriétaires sont très aimables et réactifs.
