Viking Cottage is a comfortable and cosy one bedroom cottage, south facing with stunning views over the fishing lakes and rolling Lincolnshire. Standing on the site of the old bull pen it takes its name from The Viking Way, a long-distance footpath which runs south from The Humber Bridge to Rutland Water. Section 5, Donington-on-Bain to Horncastle passes through the farm.
The bedroom, which is also off the living room is light and spacious with a feature high ash ceiling, comprehensive range of solid pine furniture and a kingsize bed. There is room for a cot if required. At the heart of the cottage is the oak panelled living/dining room with three seater red leather settee, soft lighting and ample space for dining with an adjacent kitchen area.
4 miles away is Cadwell Park Race Circuit with the Georgian Market town of Louth 9 miles and Horncastle famous for its numerous antique and collectables shops is just 5 miles. The City of Lincoln famous for its Cathedral, Castle and vibrant Brayford Waterside area is a 30-minute drive, as is the traditional seaside resort of Skegness with its sandy beaches to the east. Pub and shop 2 miles
