A comfortable retreat with friendly helpful owner and a very special dog. Eco friendly peaceful farm, easy to find and central for days out. Hope to retururn even if it's just to take the milk bottle back.

We loved this cottage, it had so many nice points.

We loved this cottage, it had so many nice points. The log burner made our stay so warm n cosy. The reclining leather sofa was great for my poorly legs. Quality bedding felt luxurious when getting into bed. The only small negatives were it needed a few more bits n pieces in the kitchen, and a hair dryer in the bedroom. Jane the host was so welcoming and we will definitely visit again.

If you don’t want internet

If you don’t want any internet, this is the place to stay. Other than that ,very clean , well set out, and very central to the wolds, owns dog Sky an angel and very friendly. Lovely walks near by, and The Kings Head is a must for a meal.

A lovely cottage, very quiet.

A lovely cottage, very quiet. Well stocked with mod cons. If we had anything negative it would be that the bed was a bit too hard for us but I appreciate a soft bed is not to everyone’s taste. A couple of footstools would be useful so us old fogies can put up our feet in the evening! For people with disabilities, the wet room is ideal. Nice and big if portable hoists are needed. Excellent cottage, especially for anyone who is disabled.

Excellent cottage, especially for anyone who is disabled. Wet room was great for my sister who is a full time wheelchair user. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and the furnishings were to a high standard.
