We had a very enjoyable stay in Eastbourne. The property is ideally located right by the pier, with a lovely sea view, and is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and other local amenities. The accommodation was clean, well furnished and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for our week-long stay, and the view was particularly impressive during the Eastbourne Airshow. Once we had finally managed to park, we had a fantastic view of the displays from the property. The only significant downside was the parking. There is no dedicated parking and spaces near to the property are very limited. Parking is on-street using daily visitor permits, which need to be changed each day. We arrived in the middle of the airshow, so finding any nearby space was virtually impossible. Only two daily permits had been left for us despite our stay being for a week, and in the end we paid to use a parking space at a nearby hotel. It would have been helpful to have clearer information about the parking arrangements beforehand, particularly for anyone arriving during a busy event. That aside, the property itself was excellent, very well located and comfortable, and we had a good stay overall.

Wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pier Lookout.

Everything, we really enjoyed our stay. Waking to a gorgeous view of Eastbourne's foreshore with the resident seagull on the window sill was worth the five flights of stairs! The apartment has everything you'll require for your stay. Easy to walk everywhere we needed and the Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus stop is directly across the road for a trip to Beachy Head which I recommend for a meal and drink. Magic view, great food and service.
