We had a wonderful stay overall. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and cleaning up, but the true highlight is the breathtaking balcony view of the ocean and St Michael’s Mount.A few practical notes for future guests:•Interior & Privacy: The cottage is a bit dated and would benefit from a modern refresh. Also, note that the neighbouring balcony at Trevara directly overlooks the downstairs main bedroom, so you’ll need to draw the curtains when changing.•Parking & Access: The alleyway to the rear parking space is extremely narrow. Despite the listed 2-metre width limit, it was a terrifyingly tight squeeze in our Porsche Macan (see photos!). The public car park is an alternative, but it's a long walk with heavy luggage and groceries.•Neighbouring Access: Upon arrival, the guests at Trevara mistakenly told us we couldn't use the garden for unloading. While we clarified that we had full access for check-in and check-out, it was an awkward exchange. It might be worth updating Trevara’s guest guide to clarify this shared access.•Local Amenities: Marazion no longer has a local convenience store or off-license, so plan to drive a few miles to the nearest supermarket for groceries.•Dining: We highly recommend The King's Arms—we ate there twice and the food was outstanding!
