Trusetal is located in the middle of a low mountain range on the south-west slope of the Thuringian Forest. The "Hohe Klinge" is a small ridge in the western part of the Thuringian Forest, near the village of Trusetal (district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen), with its well-known Trusetal waterfall and popular gnome park. Hohe Klinge's small residential and recreational area is located about 3 km from the centre of Trusetal, 700 m above sea level. Access to the Rennsteig/ Inselsberg hiking trail is in the immediate vicinity. With this as our backdrop we present the comfortably furnished 2-bedroom Finnhütte. This holiday home will be yours alone and is located slightly on the slope, thus offering a wonderful view of the forests and valleys. Within a radius of 10 km, guests have a number of options: tennis, beach/outdoor pool, indoor pool, water sports, fishing, guided hikes, skittles/bowling, mini golf, carriage rides, horseback riding, riding lessons or Kneipp treatments. Popular excursions in the area include the tourist mine (5km), waterfall (2km), Eisenach (25km) and Erfurt (70km).
Expenses related to charging an electric or hybrid car (when possible) are always charged according to use and separately

Renovierungsbedürftig

Die Hütte liegt in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Aber leider konnte man sie nicht richtig nutzen. Die Terrasse vor dem Eingang war für 4 Erwachsene zu klein, der Ausblick wurde von Bäumen verdeckt. Es war an dem WE sehr heiß, die Sonne schien schutzlos auf den Sitzplatz und in die Fenster. Das eigentliche Schlafzimmer war ok, wir hätten allerdings 2 gebraucht. Das 2. Schlafzimmer war mit 4 Betten unter dem Dach. Dort konnten wir leider nicht schlafen. Mein Mann hat nicht ins bett gepasst und stehen konnte man auch nicht. Ausserdem war die Hitze nicht zu ertragen. Die Einrichtung benötigt ganz dringend eine Renovierung für den Preis. Und vor allem Rollos oder etwas gegen die Sonne. Für ein Paar mit Kindern, die sich tagsüber nicht dort aufhalten sicherlich ok, aber zu teuer.

Een leuk en eenvoudig huisje waar alles aanwezig is wat men nodig heeft. Helaas is er geen BBQ aanwezig wat wel volgens de omschrijving aanwezig zou moeten zijn. Er wordt gesproken over een tuin, maar die is er niet. Ook mist er een gordijn op de masterbedroom. ...Verder is het huisje superschoon, handdoeken, afwasmiddel, handzeep, wc blokje en schuursponsje met vaatdoek is allemaal zonder betaling aanwezig. De omgeving is echt schitterend en leent zich dam ook uitstekend voor mooie wandelingen met de hond.
