Good location and loved the outdoor area. Very peaceful location. Spacious kitchen. Good parking. It met our needs and we had a pleasant stay. More attention to the detail in housekeeping would elevate the experience.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay
The host was very hospitable and dealt with our queries promptly. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay and is located in nice surroundings. The front and back gardens were secure for our two small Jack Russells. We had lovely day trips to the various beaches along the Sussex coast as well as days out at the attractions local to the area. A very relaxing week was had by the humans and the dogs - thank you.

Thank for your positive review. I’m disappointed you only marked the property an 8.
A wonderful cottage in a peaceful countryside. The cottage is perfect, so lovely and cosy, we immediately feel very well. We came here for the second time and Alison is always very kind, available to answer any question and welcoming. The only real problem is having to leave this place !

It was such a pleasure to see you again. Thank you for your lovely comments.
Lovely barn conversion which was perfect for our family of 4 and dog. The location is lovely with some beautiful walks from the farm. The kitchen and garden were wonderful with the warm weather we had. Some outdoor furniture on the patio would be good addition.

So glad you had a good stay. I’m sorry about the outdoor furniture had not been brought out. The great weather took me by surprise!
A lovely cottage in a pleasant peaceful rural location.
Great views from the rear veranda. A great kitchen/ dining area and plenty of space throughout.

Thank you so much for coming. I will be delighted to be your host again. Best wishes
The property was in a wonderful situation, a beautiful, peaceful outlook onto fields which we walked across to visit the lovely farm shop. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and our little one really appreciated the toys and high chair provided. Alison was really friendly and helpful. We had a really wonderful three nights, thank you.

I am so happy that you enjoyed your stay. It was great to meet you. Thanks for coming.
Wow !!!!! we loved the peaceful atmosphere of the property, right in the middle of the countryside surrounded by nature, it had everything and more inside from a well stocked kitchen/diner and comfy beds. We had family come to visit and there was plenty of room and the host was really lovely. We also brought our six month old puppy with us too and he loved it .

A lovely relaxing stay in our converted stable/barn
We stayed in this comfortable rustic barn conversion with south facing patio and glass doors overlooking the woods and fields for over 2 weeks. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. Comfortable lounges and beds. It was a short drive to typical English villages and the South Downs Way - views from Devil's Dyke were breathtaking and the restaurant/pub there superb! Petworth was a standout destination with lots of history and marvellous little shops.
Alison was our perfect host - so friendly with lots of local knowledge. She gladly provided extra towels for our unexpected guest and nothing was too much trouble for her. A wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic time at this property for a one off Christmas getaway. The property itself was beautiful, the photos really don’t do it justice! Alison even decorated for us, which was a lovely touch and made our stay feel extra special. Alison was very responsive before our stay in answering any questions we had, and was always available during our stay (even though it was Christmas!). The only small problem we had was regarding the oven fan which didn’t seem to be working. We did let Alison know and hopefully this has been fixed now, but something to check if you are planning to cook during your stay. Overall a gorgeous place which we would highly recommend!
Alison & the cottage was lovely, had everything we needed, we took our dog with us and she especially loved the field next door to run round.
Great location and easy to find.
