Whitepark Cottage was perfect for us. We are a group of five, very diverse ages, personalities and needs and everyone was very happy. The kitchen is fully kitted out. My uncle even foun bran flakes and instant oatmeal in the pantry. In and out was quick and painless , and the hosts were lightening fast responsive with great useful info. I definitely recommend!
We had a very nice time at Whitepark cottage. It is on the edge of the town, which worked for us as we were taking trips out along the coast.
Clodagh provided a very helpful bespoke booklet with lots of information about the area, shops, bars and restaurants etc.
The house itself is very comfortable and it was great to have a nice big kitchen. The lounges is also spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. The cooker / hob is a bit tired and could do with being replaced, the washing line was broken, and the quality of the cutlery was rather poor, but otherwise the facilities were good. These are minor things and did not seriously detract from our enjoyment of the property and our stay.

A nice cottage, very well equipped. The host was nice and accommodating, easy to communicate with. The problem was that the house was not cleaned up to the standards. Just a day before the check in the host announced that one of the bathrooms could not be used due to the plumbing problems. The only bathroom was not really cleaned. We had to clean it ourselves. The sofa in the living room was covered in dog’s hair, and so was the kitchen floors. The second floor bedrooms were much cleaner.
Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Ein gemütliches Haus mit allem drum und dran. Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und nach Belfast. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr angenehm. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Great location for exploring the area. The neighbours are friendly and gave us some tips. Dogs welcome in lots of places. The trains were an easy option for trips into Belfast and Derry. Free park n ride at Ballymoney

About the host
Hosted by Clodagh Kenny
Hello! We are international teachers who spend our time exploring the globe with our two wonderful kids, but hosting is where our hearts truly shine! We absolutely adore meeting people from every corner of the world and sharing our love for travel, culture, and life's big adventures.
Why they chose this property
Clodagh grew up right around the corner at breathtaking Torr Head, and no matter how far across the world we travel, nowhere compares to the magic of Ballycastle! It is our favourite place on earth, and nothing brings us more joy than showing off its stunning coastlines and warm local charm to visitors near and far. We pop back a couple of times a year to pour a little more love into the cottage and soak up the local magic ourselves!
What makes this property unique
We love helping our guests discover the absolute best of the area, so we've packed our guidebook with all our secret top tips and favourite spots! After a day out exploring, there’s nothing quite like relaxing in our sunny, fully fenced, and gated corner gardens with a steaming cup of tea (or a glass of wine!) in total peace.
