About this property

Bring your best friend to the beach - 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath pet friendly bungalow!

This charming bungalow is a short walk to the beach and also to breach inlet. The house features an open concept with living room that includes a flat screen TV with cable, a DVD player, and wi-fi access. The kitchen dining combo seats 6 and includes new appliances. The house has new HVAC system, new front loading washer and dryer and new kitchen appliances. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two double beds that can sleep up to 4, both with large closets. The bathroom has a tub/shower.

The property has a spacious yard with patio, grill and outdoor seating that is mosquito treated. Wash the sand of your toes or paws with the outdoor shower. The back yard is not fenced but we do provide a dog runner. Parking includes a 1 car carport and up to three cars are allowed on the site. The 1 story bungalow is at grade providing easy access. Security cameras are located at the front, back and carport of the property for the safety of guests and their property during their stay.

Complete linen and cleaning service included.

The kitchen is fully equipped with flat ware, dinner ware, pots & pans and a Crock pot.

Downtown IOP is accessible by walking and breach inlet and the Boathouse Restaurant is only 3 blocks away. This is the best spot on the island for sunsets and dolphin watching. We can provide a complete list of restaurants, attractions and rental companies.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The price was great and the location was excellent. The house has a ton of character, and it was better than all the mega-sized houses in the neighborhood. We would 100% stay here again. Also, the restaurant recommendations from the host were spot on.

Very helpful close to the beach

One can walk to the beach in 3-5 minutes; no need to cross major thoroughfares. The beach is not as crowded as closer tot he main pier; it is a short walk away from the inlet separating Palm and Sullivan islands, where a pod of dolphins would sometimes feed.The property manager was very accessible, reacted quickly and efficiently to our requests.

Location was excellent. Great yard for the dog to enjoy. AC/Heat worked great. Excellent water pressure in shower. All new appliances. None of the furniture matched and it was all in poor condition except the beds which seemed new. Black mold on main bedroom ceiling and shower curtain. Musty smell gave us headaches. Toilet water runs randomly. Many electrical outlets do not work. Rear sliding door is horrible. No lock and VERY difficult to open/close.

IOP vacation

The property was perfect for our needs. An old school beach house that’s hard to find since Hugo. I’m a disabled vet, and needed a place with no stairs. Also a great backyard for the dog. We could get all around the island on a golf cart, and a great beach 2 blocks away. I’ll be back!

Great stay!

We needed a place last minute after selling our home and Jakes place was just perfect! The house is extremely cozy and we enjoyed having her outdoor patio. Easy walk to the beach, too!

Great rental

This property is great. Is it the newest or most modern, no, but the location is worth the stay here. Its a very nice small house but has a very large kitchen which was very nice too. It is just a couple blocks from the beach that takes just a few minutes to walk to and us within a few minutes drive to everything else isle of palms has to do. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting somewhere to stay thats close to the beach and enjoy it to stay here. The owners are also very quick to answer any questions or comments you send them which was very nice.

Dog Friendly and Convenient

This is a great place to stay in a convenient location with all the amenities you need. It’s nothing fancy, but if you’re just looking for a place to rest your head and maybe eat a meal in between enjoying the surrounding area, this is it.

Close to beach, quaint

This place is convenient location, it was tidy and had everything we needed including some beach chairs, boogie board, etc. this is not your top of the line decorated place, as reflected in the price, but suited our family perfectly!

Perfect for IOP Exploring!

We are long-time fans/visitors of Isle of Palms and loved our stay here! We were able to bring our dog, which was so convenient and everything was either a walk or short drive away. Looking forward to our next IOP trip already!

Very nice, quiet place.

We enjoyed our stay here. While not luxurious, it is very nice and comfortable. There was a problem with the a/c the first night, but appreciated that Mr Knight responded very quickly and got it fixed.

It was a great experience from the booking, to check in and check out. Great communication with the owner. Lots of great restaurant recommendations. Close walk to the beach. Loved everything about it.
