Perfect Cosy Retreat

I absolutely loved my stay at the snug. Although it’s small it has absolutely everything you need (apart from maybe a table next to the hot tub for towels and somewhere to rest your wine glass!) It was lovely and toasty, and the shower was also surprisingly good! I’ll definitely be back :-)

Short relaxing break with sister and dogs

Great location, and directions provided prior to arrival. Warm welcome from the host. The Snug has a great range of cooking items etc you would need for a short break. Bed was lovely and comfortable, good sized towels provided for the bathroom, and hot tub. Hot tub was clean and ready for use. Only 2 little things which were 'annoying'. The cupboard for the fridge, the door didn't stay closed easily. The space at The Snug is private with lathe hedges, which is great. However, the fencing does not fully go around, so if you have 2 small curious dachshunds like me, they can easily escape and be out on the other side of the gate! Thankfully I had long leads to attach them to the fencing while we were in the hot tub, but it slightly spoiled a relaxing time, knowing they could not wander freely in 'our garden'.

Quirky hidden gem

Lovely accommodation with everything needed for a short stay. Clean and cosy with some nice little touch’s ie bottle of fizz, basket of jacuzzi, throw, marshmallows etc. Jacuzzi in private garden, nestled near a stream, saw an owl and squirrel on our visit. My husband had a lovely 60th weekend. Thank you. We will visit again for sure.

Very quiet beautiful spot with great private garden and hot tub

The Snug was small but comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub in the private tub was so lovely. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The only issue was not all the windows had shutters or blinds so we were woken by the light in the early morning. We improvised with some towels . Providing eye masks might help.
