About this property

River and country views & woodburner at ‘The Nest’

The property is located in Burrowbridge, which is a small village approximately 15 minutes from both Taunton and Bridgwater and 20 minutes from Glastonbury.

You have a fridge, microwave, air fryer and portable grill in the kitchenette should you want to take advantage of the self-catering option. We are lucky to be a short 8 minute river walk from the local pub - the King Alfred. The pub has a reputation for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The property backs onto the River Tone with direct access via a side garden gate which means you can walk for miles directly from the property. You will see an abundance of wildlife including woodpeckers, white doves and a wide range of garden birds. You can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset during your stay - should you be lucky with the British weather! The area is renowned for walking, cycling and fishing. You will have your own parking space at ‘The Nest' and there is free wifi throughout the property. We are a pet friendly property and would love to meet our furry guests.
