Mynydd a Mor - Three Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 4

Mynydd a Mor - translates as 'mountain and sea' - is a aptly-named 3 bedroom holiday home found in the quiet little village of Dwygyfylchi on the North Coast of Wales, between the Victorian coastal resort of Llandudno, and the mystic Ynys Môn.

A modern and contemporary home, Mynydd a Mor is a great base for a couple or small family who are looking to explore the wider North Wales region, or excellent tourist spots nearby. The house opens up into the hallway, which leads to a the kitchen space on the left, downstairs family shower on the right, or directly ahead, the spacious open living room/dining area, with large comfy seating and a dining table that seats four comfortably. Warm and spacious sofas and a large, flat-screen TV finish off the bright and clean space and make for a wonderful family focal point.

Back into the hallway for a moment, and turn into the large kitchen area. Remnants of the old house structure appear here more visibily with the open beams across the left-hand side of the room. A breakfast bar worktop, and two under counter seats can be found, as well as a small American fridget-freezer combo and microwave. On the other side of the split, you will find beautiful cabinets, a clean tiles. A belfasr sink sets off the space brilliantly, and there is the use of an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, utensilts and an under-counter washing machine.

Out of the kitchen, and across, you will find two separate rooms. One is the family shower room with washbasin and heated towel rail, and closer to the front door of the house, but separated from the shower room, is the WC.

Upstairs, you will find the sleeping quarters. Three brilliant bedrooms - one double, and two singles - allow for a mixture of groups to stay. There is also a trvel cot in one of the single rooms, giving a little additional space for an infant if needs be. Other facilities in the house are free WiFi, which is provided throughout, parking for up to 2 cars and bed linens and towels are also supplied, though cot linen will need to be brought if you are planning to use this. There is then also an outdoor area with seating for you to use when the weather is fine.

One of the prettiest valleys in the North Wales' famed Eryri National Park, Dwygyfylchi is sheltered by the two headlands of Penmaenbach and Penmaemawr. Half a mile to the south-east of the main village lies Capelulo, which lies at the foot of the picturesque Sychnant Pass, and which connects Dwygyfylchi to Conwy. The cottage is in an ideal spot for sightseeing, with a sandy beach located at a short distance and the towns of Conwy - a popular stop on most tourist's road map of North Wales, with it's historic castle and walled town - and Llandudno which is in easy reach by car. The Isle of Anglesey, the famous Ynys Môn, is just a 20-minute drive from door to bridge.
