Casa Galo Verde, a gem consisting of 7 private holiday apartments, is located exquisitely and directly on the dreamlike Albandeira cliffs and beaches near the well-known holiday resort of Carvoeiro.

Behind a large wooden gate lies the dreamlike property, partially fenced, partially surrounded by low natural stone walls. Pure nature all around.

The holiday apartments are each equipped with a bathroom (shower and bathtub), living room, open kitchen and separate bedroom, as well as a private, south-facing terrace - with an overwhelming view of the naturally landscaped garden down to the sea! The communal pool, loungers and parasols invite you to cool down and relax. Barbecue enthusiasts will get their money's worth. A large table and a brick BBQ are ready for relaxed, sociable evenings.

A field path leads from the garden through terrain overgrown with native shrubs, pine trees, flowers and bushes to the bathing bay Praia das Fontainhas located below.

We had an incredible stay. The grounds were beautiful and thoughtfully planned out with a pool that was much enjoyed! The location lended to enjoying a secluded beach within a 2 min walk (given you are willing to descend and climb a steep path), which was the icing on the cake. Please note, there is no AC; however, the heat is dry and there are metal shutters that are placed on each window to block the hot sun, which works well in cooling the space. Kitchen area was great with everything needed for cooking and prepping provided. Coffee was provided as well! Outside of a much needed interior decor update (80’s decor) and new furniture and bed for comfort, we would highly recommend a stay.

Thank you Christina, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay in Casa Galo Verde. We are constantly working on improvements, our permanent housekeeper and serviceman are doing their best to keep the whole property in good shape and condition. Bed frames are quality real wood, mattresses are new.

Fantastische locatie en zeer compleet appartement! Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad! Prachtige omgeving en op loopafstand van prachtig strand. Het appartement was zeer compleet in gericht. Fijn ook dat parasols te leen waren. Het enige wat niet goed ging was de communicatie rond het inchecken. Ik had geen mail ontvangen en inloggen in digitaal systeem ging niet! Mails kwamen niet aan ook na meer dan 10 pogingen. Blijkbaar moest het echt via systeem waardoor ik het eerst 10 x heb moeten proberen. Gelukkig was er een vriendelijke medewerker die geholpen heeft en kregen we toch de sleutel van het appartement. Er was geen communicatie mogelijk omdat er geen mails aankomen. Dat alles was lastig. Maar het appartement was geweldig!!

Casa Galo Verde

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einmalig schön. Einige wenige Häuser in der Nachbarschaft, viel Natur und direkter Zugang zur Küste für einen entspannten Spaziergang. Die Casa Galo Verde ist gemütlich, der Garten und der Pool sehr schön angelegt und bietet viel fürs Auge und Entspannung. Wir haben uns in dieser kleinen Oase in mitten der doch sehr bebauten Algarve wiederholt sehr wohl gefühlt. Wünschenswert wäre die Überprüfung und ggf. der Austausch der Küchenutensilien auf Alter und Funktionsfähigkeit.

Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist wie ein nach Hause kommen

Alles war schön, die Unterkunft, der wunderschöne Garten, Pool und ein Gefühl wie nach Hause kommen (wir waren schon 2017 und 2018 dort) . Wir kommen gerne wieder.
