The house had a cozy feel. We enjoyed both the outdoor wood and gas fireplaces. The long table had enough room for all 8 of us. Loved the open space with the kitchen and dining room.
We plan to come back and stay longer next time!! It was a great mix of a charming farmhouse with plenty of room and a location to tour wineries daily. Great views from the back/side deck and the fire table on the porch is an excellent touch!
We had a wonderful time staying at this house. Explored Watkins Glen, Penn Yan & Hammondsport; wine tastings, restaurants and a chartered boat ride to explore Keuka lake and to swim.

So glad you had a good time and that you were able to enjoy all our region has to offer!
Clean . Comfortable . Nice amenities . Good communication .When sitting on the back deck trees have since been overgrown not allowing much of a view of the lake . We were very much looking forward to that lakeview. Nice Lake View available from the upstairs bedroom . Other than that very nice stay.

Hey Debra! Thanks for leaving our house in such good shape and we are glad you enjoyed yourselves! In terms of the trees obstructing the view, thanks for that feedback. It has been a particularly wet spring and summer so there has been a lot of growth in the meadow by the house. The trees do not belong to us, so we have contacted our neighbors to ask their permission to have some trees taken down to improve our views. (This is an environmental issue as well, so we try to only remove the minimal amount needed.) We have a contractor coming this fall to help improve the view by removing some trees from the neighbor's land. We hope you arrived home safely! Greg and Monica
We had a great time for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the quiet setting - coffee on the deck in the mornings, bonfire after dark in the evenings. The large dining table was perfect for playing games/cards and we found that the bedrooms and bathrooms were the perfect amount of space for our group of 8.

How fun that you did yoga in our big yard! Thanks for taking good care of our home away from home! We work hard to keep the house in good shape and we always appreciate when our guests notice!
Beautiful and roomy!! They take great care of the grounds and it makes for some beautiful sunrises. The kitchen area is perfect for foodies and large groups as well. The hosts were very responsive and helpful as well.

Thanks for noticing the grounds, as we are very proud of the recent addition of the cottage garden. We work hard to keep the house in good shape and we always appreciate when our guests notice!
Located on the only prominent peninsula within the Finger Lakes region, there is no through traffic passing this house. It is so quiet. And yet all you need can be found in Penn Yan, 15 minutes away. There are many wineries in this area; we visited Stever Hill 15 minutes away.Watkins Glen State Park is incredible; about 45 minutes away. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. Our favorite part would be the large dining room table that seats 12!It sits in a room full of windows; the morning sun pours in over breakfast and you have a view of the lake.I would highly recommend this place to a group of 8.

We are so glad you had a good time! We love that quiet and views, too! Come back soon!
Good location. Near to wineries. Had a good time going to Keuka lake and Seneca lake. Lots of things to do. The farmhouse was very nice. Especially liked the kitchen/dining area. Weather was a little chilly and the house got pretty cold with the thermostat set at 66. Next time I would bring winter pajamas. I asked ahead of time if there was a crockpot in the house and they told me yes. The crockpot didn’t work so dinner one night had to change. Also I should mention that the stairs going upstairs are quite slippery. I slipped on the way down Overall we had a great time and liked the house. No issues with the hosts. Everything ran smoothly. Check out the stereo system in the closet. Music was awesome!
Fantastic property and great communication from the owners

Thanks for this great review, Lisa, and leaving our farmhouse in such good condition! I'm glad you were able to get out to the wineries and breweries, too! It's so nice to see the area buzzing with activity again! Come back anytime!
Our stay was absolutely perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. Description of property was extremely accurate. Beautiful home and surrounding area. Great experience.
Highly recommend staying here! The location is beautiful, place was clean, hosts were very responsive. I went with family to support a family member running in the Wineglass Half Marathon. We all enjoyed the scenery and the deer that made an appearance each day. Thank you again!
