We didn’t 100% realize it was four different apartments, but it worked out really well to have some privacy with a big group. If your kids are little and can’t be in a separate apartment, this won’t work. One room didn’t have air-conditioning, but the rest of them did. Two of the rooms had a kitchen, which was really nice. The courtyard was pretty and nice to sit out. There’s a beautiful view from the windows. The town of Cavigliano is magical…and I had no idea! It was a happy surprise to be in such an old unique, beautiful place. There’s a grocery store, pizza place, and a pasticceria 10 min walk from the place that was so delicious! There is also a bar and 2 more restaurants within 2-5 min walk that were also yummy. The train station is close to get to Locarno and Ascona and the buses are available often as well. Would definitely stay again.
