We absolutely love beautiful Merriman Cottage! It was everything we hoped it would be. Beautifully decorated, so comfortable and cleverly decorated. Kim and Joe are excellent hosts and they have thought of every single detail to make staying here a delight. We were two couples and the Cottage was completely perfect for our needs. The location is outstanding – right in the heart of charming Chipping Camden just off the High Street. So many little shops and delicious little places to eat and buy provisions for cooking at the cottage. And conveniently located to drive to all sorts of other Cotswald villages for a true Cotswald experience. Thanks again to Kim and Joe for our wonderful stay in their outstanding Cottage.

Perfect stay

This cottage was perfect for a lovely weekend away with a small group of girlfriends. It's so cosy, stylishly decorated, with very comfortable beds, and has everything you need. Perfectly placed too, just a very short stroll from Chipping Campden high street with all its lovely shops nd restaurants.

Beautiful Stay in the Cotswolds

What a beautiful home in a perfect location. Could not have been more impressed with the house, its amenities, and its fabulous location. Would stay there 10 times out of 10.

The perfect cottage!

This was the perfect cottage for our Cotswolds stay. It had everything we needed and more. Very central location but still very peaceful. And I think the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We'll definitely be booking again next year. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Absolutely best location for enjoying Chipping Campden

Merriman Cottage is located right off of High Street and close to the restaurants and shops. Parking is a bit of challenge during season, but not hard to find a parking spot close by if someone else has parked in front of the cottage. Cottage is clean, efficient and well decorated and functionally designed.

Darling cottage just off the high street

This cottage is everything and then some! Kim was an excellent and responsive hostess. We stayed here for 9 nights. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are well arranged, the living area was comfy with a great smart TV, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the dining room/Sun room was extra special with sky lights and view of the garden patio. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to stay again when we visit the very special village of Chipping Campden.

Delightful stay in wonderful Chipping Campden

A home that certainly does not disappoint and is better than the photos show! The kitchen and the top floor bedroom are the standouts with beautiful stone features and views out the back patio. Home is clean, warm and provides everything you need for a short or long stay. (Although have fun trying to find the utensils :) Less than a minute walk away from a nice pub with lovely staff, while anywhere else in the rest of the beautiful village can be a reached in 5/10 Great stay will return

We enjoyed this beautifully updated home. The photos are spot on. We had some questions that caused us to communicate a few times with our host and she was very responsive. Just off the high street but also quiet. No bathroom or bedroom on the main level and stairs were a bit treacherous for luggage especially to the top floor. The top floor bedroom is best for a smaller person due to eves and small shower. My only suggestion would be a different coffee maker as neither of us liked the coffee and we are big coffee drinkers. The coffee shop next door opens at 9:00 so a little late. Always found a parking place in front which was great! Definitely recommend

For the benefit of future guests, to clarify, the cottage is on 3 floors - there is a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and bedroom and ensuite on second floor but no bedroom on the ground floor. The top floor is in the eaves but my husband is 6'2" & we always sleep up there as only a small area of the room is of restricted height.

Most enjoyable stay at Merriman Cottage

Great location in Chipping Campden - just a short walk to the High Street. Beautifully refurbished in 2023 with great taste. Comfortable well appointed living room with very comprehensive and helpful Guest Guide, modern, bright spacious kitchen with Prosecco, tea, coffee, milk waiting for us. Modern, very clean bathroom and shower. Lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. The cottage was nice and warm when we arrived and the hot water worked well. We had a lovely time and are looking forward to returning soon. Kim was very responsive to the messages we sent. Thanks you Kim for sharing your cottage with us!
