The villa was beautiful with amazing views of the sea from each room. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and having a glass of good Italian wine. Great location with good restaurants all around and shopping. The villa was perfect! All was good with Summer In Italy!

This is a beautiful home in a perfect location and was a great spot for our group of three couples. Views are stunning. Everything is nearby. And it's quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed Baldassarre, the owner (and chef, and sommelier), who we hired to make dinner on the night of our arrival - it was incredible, paired with wines, and served on the terrace overlooking the sea. Unbelievable! Thank you for letting us enjoy this wonderful home for a few nights!

Enjoyed very much

Enjoyed very much! My recommendation to future tenants is to make sure you close the bedroom doors and bathroom doors. This helps the bedrooms stay much cooler with the split units. Highly recommend taking Baldassarre, the owner of the villa, up on his offer to cook one night during your stay. He did so for us and it was fabulous. He is a great cook and excellent conversationalist. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Summer In Italy and Villa Mitrea to others.

We spent an amazing 4 nights here. The Villa is in a wonderful location with a few great restaurants close by, and an amazing view from the balcony. The owner was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Our host Balda was so helpful and an incredible chef! We had him come and cook for our anniversary! I recommend you definitely have him cook for you! The rooms were large with views of the sea from each room. The kitchen was a chef’s kitchen. The terrace was large and we loved sitting on the terrace enjoying a glass of good Italian wine! The villa was in a great location with many good restaurants close by. I highly recommend Villa Balda!!!

There were ants in the bedroom drawers and furniture and bed. Found ants crawling on my son. Ants in the bathrooms as well. Ton of ants on kitchen as well. Owner had ants solution in the house that we used but still to of ants. It might just be positano because they would be on the railings of stairs as well. Beach was not 4 min away. Spiagga grande was good 15 min walk. AC only in the bedrooms and was not that strong. There is a washing machine but no dryer. You would need to hang your clothes. This is more cultural I think. In USA if there is a washing machine then a dryer would be available. Not like this in Europe

Staying at Villa Mitrea was the highlight of our week! From the location, to the amenities, the hot tub and the warm welcome from the owner, it was a very special stay. There was more than enough room for our family of five and it had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay.
