Beautiful cabin!
My family and I loved this cabin! It had everything you needed for a great family getaway! My 3 boys were in heaven with the books in their room that they stayed in, the building blocks, and the huge fireplace! We loved every bit of it and can't wait to return!

Clean, warm and cozy!!
This place was perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend! We enjoyed it so much! We will definitely be back!
This house was cozy like a cabin but also spacious like a modern home. We were very close to great hikes at Balcones National Wildlife Refuge and the lake. Quiet, safe, comfortable. I highly recommend!
Everything went without a hitch! I loved the property and the host was so helpful and communicative. We had everything we needed. Would love to stay again!

Perfect spot just outside of Austin
Everything about this property was great. It was spacious, charming, nicely decorated. We enjoyed each morning sitting out on the patio overlooking the hill country with Lake Travis in view, and a wonderful morning breeze. Thanks Cindy and Gregg.

It was just beautiful! Very homey and cozy. Great host!
We truly loved the cabin and highly recommend it to anyone. Everything worked well and it is decorated so nicely. There was nothing missing. As the days got cold while we were here, the wood burning fireplace was a highlight. It worked amazingly well!
This spot is a GEM! Beautiful cabin in Jonestown, conveniently located to swimming, fishing, biking and hiking. We enjoyed beginning and ending the day taking in the view from the back deck. This cabin is perfectly furnished and very comfortable. We will definitely re-book in the future!

Beautiful cabin in scenic location
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Conveniently located just outside of Austin, we had the proximity of grocery stores, restaurants etc. but felt like we were deep in the woods with all of the hills and greenery around. Cindy was such a great host, she responded to my texts within a few minutes and even dropped off matches and a lighter for the fireplace when we were unable to locate one. Definitely recommend this!

We have been coming her we since January of this year almost every week. We needed a comfortable, clean, homey, and safe place to keep our work truck to stay while we were working on the new UPS center. We found it here. We loved the view and the outside deck

What a Wonderful home
We stayed at Cindy and Greg's home for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The home has everything you could possibly need, even when the weather kept us indoors for the day we still had a great time playing ping pong and air hockey in the garage. The home is in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the lake but still pretty close to the stores. Thank y'all again for letting us stay in your home we are looking forward to staying there again.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Misrepresented
Cabin Style but not in a cabin area. Located in a neighborhood,
no outdoors, or walking area. About 2 miles to nearest park (charges $20 for parking/entrance).
Very noisy ! Situated above very busy road in valley.
Recreation area in filthy garage; all equipment as pictured in listing broken and filthy.
Interior of cabin was spacious.

Cozy retreat
We just returned from our stay at this cabin. It was clean and well stocked for all our needs. We had our toddler grandchild with us and there were some blocks and toys to entertain him too. We felt very at home and comfortable here. There were some nice extra touches like the shampoo and bath gel dispensers in each shower and the grill and large deck. The owners were welcoming and hospitable. Our damage deposit was returned promptly. I was also notified that I had left behind my curling iron and Cindy made arrangements to mail it to me. The location is great for visiting Lake Travis. We also visited the nearby Jones Bros Park with our grandson. It was a relaxing stay for us. We would recommend this property to others.

Pictures do not do it justice!!! It is gorgeous, cozy, and perfectly furnished.
From the moment we arrived and saw the breathtaking views of the rolling hills around surrounding the neighborhood, we were obsessed! The home is built with a variety of textures and woods that made us feel like we were in an ultra cozy, yet highly modern cabin. The kitchen and living room area is open, and a great size. The two bedrooms downstairs are a great size (One room has a tall queen, the other has the three twin beds), the one upstairs is open and very romantic. We were a group of 8 adults, and 7 fit on the beds comfortably, but the leather couch was spacious and soft enough to sleep on also. The upstairs bed is listed as a king, but is arguably a California king, and the bathroom features a gorgeous slated rain-shower, which was a pleasant surprise. The views throughout the home were breathtaking and plentiful. We chose to enjoy breakfast outside one morning, and were greeted by two roosters (ironic considering decor). We were surprised because none of us had heard them, and we realized that the home is extremely noise resistant. Overall, we would absolutely stay there again in a heartbeat, but I would pack a LOT less. I did not realize how accommodating it would be!

About the host
Hosted by Cindy and Gregg Hoskins
My husband and I live in the area and love the Texas Hill Country. We have teenagers, chickens, and bees, and love the outdoors.
Why they chose this property
We enjoy living in the Texas Hill Country so much we wanted to have a place to share with others. Our Cabin is not just a house in the country, but a peaceful escape surrounded by beautiful views of creation. LakeView Cabin is a quiet refuge, inside and out!
What makes this property unique
Jonestown is perfect because it is close enough to "town" for the convenience of stores, restaurants and activities, but far enough outside of town that you can enjoy the beauty of the Hill Country. Jonestown is known as the "Gateway to the Hill Country" with good reason!
Premier Host
They consistently provide great experiences for their guests
