The cottage is warm and very clean. Comfy leather sofas and all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need. We loved watching the local deer and sheep with a wonderful sea view. Just perfect for a relaxing holiday.

This is the second visit to Raasay Cottage and as last visit everything was perfect. The cottage was spotless and equipped with everything you could possibly need.The views From the cottage are to die for .Peter our host emailed me to make sure we had arrived OK and everything was OK witch was much appreciated and to get in touch if there was anything we required. I would highly recommend Raasay cottage and will be definitely returning in the future.

The cottage was amazing! Clean with lots of amenities to use. Very dog friendly with a safe garden which was fenced, even had a scooby doo bowl (my favourite cartoon!!)and poo bags. The host (Peter) was reachable if needed. Well what can I say about the living room view? Stunning…we loved watching the sea and listening to the waves, got to see the northern lights and plenty of star gazing. The log fire made the room very cosy and warm. We got to see a family of deer which was beautiful and serene. There are plenty of walks to go on with amazing waterfalls. Well worth a second visit.

Everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Host was excellent with directions and details. House was clean, tidy and very bright and airy. Stunning location.

Das Cottage ist super eingerichtet und hat einen unglaublich schönen Ausblick. Es ist alles sehr sauber und das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist außergewöhnlich, sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Peter hat uns vor der Anreise und auch während unseres Aufenthaltes mit Tipos versorgt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Besuch des Old Schoolhouses (oberhalb von Poolewe) auf Kaffee und Kuchen gegen eine Spende. In Poolewe ist auch ein wunderschöner Garten, der zum Besuch und verweilen einlädt. In Mervaig kann man zum Leuchtturm wandern. Dahinter finden sich zwei malerische Buchten. Der Abstieg ist etwas beschwerlich aber es lohnt sich. Aber Achtung. Midges! Es gibt Spray oder noch besser sind vermutlich die Netze gegen die wirklich bösartigen bissigen Insekten. Der kleine Laden am Camping Platz ist gut sortiert und die Bar dort ist super für Lunch. Empfehlenswert ist ein Einkauf in Inverness. In Gairloch ist es doch teurer und das Angebot in dem kleinen Morrison ist doch eingeschränkt. Das Cottage ist eine absolute Empfehlung!
