The Farmhouse Loft blends rustic, farmhouse style with modern comforts and amenities. The full kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and spacious wooden countertops. We've provided everything you need to prepare the perfect home-cooked meal, including Mason jars, cast iron pans and glass canisters. Two spacious and quiet bedrooms offer the perfect place to rest after a long day. In the living area, the barn doors give way to an entertainment center equipped with a 42-inch flatscreen TV, DVD player, and Netflix access. Kick back and watch a movie from the comfort of our signature swinging sofa.

Very nice apartment.

Everything you might need for a short or extended stay is here. All of the furniture was very comfortable. They recommend slippers for inside because of the original wood floors and I would agree but the floors just add to the charm of the space. We absolutely would and probably will stay again.

We absolutely love the location of this charming property and the wonderful space itself. It's so easy to get in and get out; it's spacious and private. The host makes you feel welcome, which is a true gift. But since our last stay here, it felt like this property has been a bit neglected, which was depressing. Stains on upholstery, sweaty-smelling blankets on the couch, mold in the bathroom (under the mat, all over the shower curtains), dirty bathroom walls, air conditioners that don't work and the temporary(?) window unit in the bedroom sooo loud and obnoxious, broken dryer door that doesn't stay closed, lights that flicker like a strobe when they are on, lights that don't work at all, pots and pans scratched up and unsafe. This was disappointing because it's such a lovely place! It needs refreshing and a serious deep clean.

Charming Stay

We were in the area for a couple days for an event in Roadhouse. Carrollton was incredibly charming and we really loved the Farmhouse loft. We got food at the pizza place next door and I had the BEST meatball sub! We really appreciated being able to bring our dog along on our trip as he can be very anxious when we are away. Can't wait to come back!

We had an overnight stay during a very long roadtrip, the loft was perfect and we were able to have a very relaxing night after eating some of the best pizza I have ever had, highly recommend the place just a few hundred feet away. Communication with owners was perfect.

A great and convenient space with all the necessary amenities. We flew into town for a wedding and it was nice to have everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What a lovely accommodation. The space is gorgeous, but all the extras really made the difference. A pack and play, high chair, and toy cupboard helped make staying out of town with our toddler relaxing. The laundry facilities were a life saver. Overall, we were extremely impressed and thankful.

Husband/wife dynamic duo -- another small-town Chip + Joanna Gaines. We recently built our own home from ground up. We also enjoy taking on big projects such as the Farmhouse Loft. When the apartment became vacant we took it as an opportunity to give back to our community by creating a unique space for visitors (and locals) to getaway. The building we own on "the square" in downtown Carrollton is one of the most historic properties in the area. With the Farmhouse Loft we gutted the entire apartment to barebones and found the perfect balance of exposing history through 1800s brick and hardwood floors while pairing it with updated amenities. We are looking forward to creating more spaces in our town in the very near future!
