Ravensnest-Bears Den Studio Apartment
The Bears Den studio apartment is located in the main house. It consists of a queen-size bed, convenience kitchen which includes a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker (does not have a range/oven), a great room and a walk-in bath. Dish satellite TV and open WiFi. Private entrance, patio furniture and parking. There are numerous verandas and patios to enjoy the scenery throughout the property.
Deer Haven Guest Cottage (VRBO 431820) consists of two bedrooms, the master suite has a queen size bed and a walk out patio, the guest bedroom has a queen size bed, one bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen/dining room with a living room and dish network. It is approximately 1300 sq ft. A roll a way bed is also available. The cottages are surrounded by gardens, a shrine and a reflecting pond.
Grizzly Rose Guest Cottage (VRBO 1139489) consists of two bedrooms with sitting areas. One bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin pull out bed, the other bedroom has a queen size bed. Each bedroom has dish network/DVD. There are two bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen/dining area with a walkout veranda. Grizzly Rose guest cottage does not have a formal living room. It is approximately 800 Sq ft. Open WiFi on the property.
Ravensnest consists of Deer Haven guest Cottage and the Grizzly Rose guest Cottage along with the Bears Den studio apartment. We are surrounded by mesas and mountains in the valley south of Cortez approximately 10 minutes. There is walking and hiking on the property.
Ravensnest is situated on 30 acres south of Cortez. There are numerous Gardens, medicine Wheels, reflecting ponds and many places to sit, relax, expand, and be at peace.
The sky lounge sits in the back behind the medicine wheel. A place to lay and watch our magnificent night sky. Three twin beds and a bin with pillows and blankets are there for your convenience. A place to connect with the Galaxy. Envelope yourself with the milky way, falling stars and moving objects.

I am an enrolled member at the Santa Clara Pueblo, a direct descendant of the ancient Pueblo in culture from Mesa Verde. I was raised at Santa Clara Pueblo and Zuni Pueblo and moved to Flagstaff and graduated from high school. I went to Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University. In 1985 I moved to Cortez Colorado.
Why they chose this property
My parents originally owned this property, I purchase this property from them in 1989 and have created Ravensnest. Deer Haven guest Cottage and Grizzly Rose guest Cottage are also situated here on the property.
