First visit to Champoluc

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Champoluc. The apartment provided a comfortable base for us to explore a substantial part of the Monterosa ski area, which is extensive, and full of Italian character and charm. Some of the outlying areas such as Antagnod and Estoul are well worth a visit. We would like to thank the owner for making us feel at home in such a wonderful location.

Great location and well equipped

We really enjoyed our stay and had great communication from the owner, Giovanni. Good sized living room and dining area. You can convert both sofas into double sofa beds. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner every day. The location is handy to pop out to the supermarket which is near the entrance to the gondola. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the gondola in the morning, so we stored our skis at the apartment in the ski rack and it was never an issue getting to the lift each morning with 2 kids in ski boots.

Cosy apartment, only a short walk to main gondola

A cosy apartment, our teens (15 and 17) slept on the 2 big sofa beds in lounge and were perfectly happy and comfy. Views of the trees and village from the huge window were lovely. Shutter on main bedroom window blocked out light fully when down so this was perfect for us. Boys liked to keep main room window clear to look out even at night. Very quiet, didn’t hear neighbours at all until Easter weekend when it was busier everywhere. We had a car but just walked to the lift or bus stop as it was just a short walk. An easy wander in to village in the evening for a nice choice of places to eat/ drink. Not a real negative but we never found the mentioned DVD player - to be fair we didn’t look very hard as it wasn’t needed and didn’t even turn tv on! There’s some small games on the bookshelves and we enjoyed these. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It was also a lovely and warm apartment too, never felt too hot or cold, beds were really comfy and we all slept well. Wi-Fi would be a great addition but with mobile data these days it really wasn’t an essential. Giovanni was a really great host and answered any queries quickly and efficiently before and during our stay. We’d definitely stay here again, it’s a great little base for a fabulous ski week so thank you so much for a fabulous holiday!

Cosy apartment in the centre of Champoluc.

We felt very comfortable as soon as we had unpacked for our weeks stay. The apartment has a spacious living/dining room and bedroom. The shower is excellent, which is important after a day on the slopes. The kitchen is well equipped and has an induction hob, which makes cooking easy. Our host Giovanni was very easy to deal with and quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Champoluc.

Una casa in paese ma vicino al bosco

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in estate. La casa è in ottima posizione, panoramica e vicino al bosco, e nello stesso tempo comoda con gli impianti se si vuole salire subito uni quota. E' dotata di tutto il necessario e anche di più. Nel complesso un ottimo soggiorno in una bella località .

An excellent place to stay and ski

I can highly recommend the apartment as a place to stay in Champoluc. It is well maintained and has everything you will need. It is very centrally placed for shops, restaurants and the ski lift, everything being a short walk away. I would like to return again next year. Champoluc is a great base for skiing in the Monterosa ski area which covers three valleys. In my opinion Italy Is the best place to ski in Europe and Monterosa is my favourite. Great food, very reasonable prices, warm friendly welcoming local people and pistes which are never too busy. What more could you ask for?

Interni appartamento e vicinanza pista.

Casa molto accogliente, bagno nuovo (e con lavatrice A+++ !), camera matrimoniale spaziosa (abbiamo usato la poltrona-letto per il figlio e dormito magnificamente). Arredamento generale molto curato e "tipico montano" (come appare dal sito), la zona living (salotto e tavolo) sono un angolo molto confortevole e "caldo" dove stare. Cucina dotata di tutto. E' una mansarda (3o piano) e non c'e' ascensore ma i piani sono brevi e salire non pesa. L'impianto si raggiunge da casa facendo un percorso a "L": il primo tratto di circa 50/60m e' lievemente in salita, poi segue quello in strada in piano. Penso che, cronometro alla mano, non ci mettessimo neanche 3 minuti uscendo da casa (volendo si lasciano addirittura gli sci in deposito alla base dell'impianto). La gentilezza e disponibilità' di Giuseppe fanno il resto: torneremo sicuramente l'anno prossimo.

Fantastic stay in Champoluc

Apartment was exactly like we had imagined it - the information we read before arrival is in our opinion accurate and there were no surprises. Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. As an EXTREME coffee lover, I thought the coffeemaker would be an electrical one -like the one I use at home, but it is more like a moka coffee maker. Even if I did not use it, I am sure it makes great coffee! :D We enjoyed the fantastic stay in this apartment in Champoluc and if we ever come back again, we will definitely rent it again if possible! And you cannot find any better host than Giovanni, we are so grateful and amazed by his hospitality. Whatever question or request we had before and during our stay - the reply and feedback was always quick and positive. Thank you Giovanni - you are the best! Best wishes from the Candler family

A great flat in a convenient location.

This great flat was ideal for our family of four. It has lots of character, is sufficiently spacious that we had plenty of room, the beds (including the sofa beds) were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are just right. There is a lovely view from the living area across the valley. It is located a short walk from the main lift, shops and restaurants in Champoluc and it is possible to ski back to the apartment at the end of the day. The host was very helpful and friendly from the moment we booked. We loved our stay in this flat in Champoluc and will certainly be returning.

Per coloro che desiderano una full-immersion sciistica la posizione di questo grazioso trilocale e’ eccellente! 2 minuti (davvero 2) dalla cabinovia Crest. Ideale come spazio per 3/4 persone anche se i posti letto possono essere superiori. Siamo stati davvero bene

Mansarda molto carina vicinissima agli impianti

Mansarda molto carina ben posizionata rispetto agli impianti di risalita. Parcheggio disponibile sotto casa: molto utile perche il parcheggio pubblico è a circa 300 metri.

perfetta per le vacanze in montagna

abbiamo passato una settimana bellissima. La mansarda è molto ben disposta e ben equipaggiata. Giovanni si è sempre mostrato molto disponibile e pronto ad ogni nostra richiesta. Sicuramente ritorneremo!

Appartamento molto accogliente, pulito e vicino agli impianti

Con la mia famiglia (2 adulti e 3 bambini piccoli) abbiamo trascorso una bella settimana nell'appartamento nel periodo post natalizio. La casa è molto accogliente, pulita, calda e comoda per una famiglia. La cucina è ben attrezzata, la camera da letto ampia con armadio. Molto vicina agli impianti di risalita. Terzo piano senza ascensore ma le rampe sono brevi e non è faticoso neanche dopo una giornata di sci. Ci torneremo volentieri

New year with top skiing

Cozy little apartment in the center of Champoluc and close to everything. 5 min to go to the cabin and you can ski to the house in the afternoon. Numerous cozy little restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. So it could not be better. A perfect place for a family with children

"It''s my second time using this apartment. The flat is perfect for a couple sharing. You can have someone on the sofabed but then you lose the living area. The apartment is conveniently closed to the ski lift and there are good restaurants nearby. However there isn''t a lot of hot water so would advise to take showers instead of baths."
