Small, cosy chalet "Pia", 3 storeys. 1.5 km from the centre of Zermatt, on top of a hill. In the house: central heating system. Restaurant, bar 20 m, bakery 35 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Kapelle" 20 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.5 km. Mountain railway, ski rental 400 m, ski bus stop 20 m. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: Additional accommodations can be booked.
4-room apartment 89 m2 on 1st floor, south facing position. Simple and cosy furnishings: walk-through room 16 m2 with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), bath/WC. Interconnecting room 5 m2 with 1 bed (120 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen-/living room (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine) with dining table and TV. Heating. Upper floor: (spiral staircase), 1 room with sloping ceilings with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), bath/WC. Heating. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

A hidden gem with fantastic views!

The views of the Matterhorn from this appartment were outstanding! It was just a short walk from the gondola station up to Glacier Paradise. The bus stop was just 1 minute away! The rooms were a good size and a bonus of two bathrooms. The only criticism we had, was that the property could do with some new pillows. We loved the location!

Great location, terrible facilities

The home is in a stunning location, that is why I gave it 4 stars However there is no washing machine, the ceiling is peeling off and the kitchen table is also in very poor conditions and kind of gross. The customer service is next to unexisting. You have to get rid of your own garbage, take off your own sheets and towels and put all your dishes away before you leave. The pillows are so uncomfortable it was next to impossible to get a comfortable sleep. So if you don’t mind those things….

In the occasion guests face some inconveniences during the stay, please notify the keyholder who will provide some resolve as soon as possible. As our holiday homes are meant for fully self-catered stays, basic cleaning is expected of guests. Our cleaning team comes after departure to do the final cleaning. For a full explanation, the difference is explained in the booking terms and conditions available on our website. Thank you for understanding.

Tellement bien situé

Avec son balcon panoramique et son emplacement en surplomb ce chalet est vraiment très appréciable. L'aménagement des chambres ressemble à celui d'un hôtel simple; il n'y a effectivement que 5 lits dont 1 double pas large. La cuisine est petite pour 6 personnes (adaptée pour 4 ou 5); l'équipement est basique, mais suffisant si on lâche ses habitudes.

Ferienwohnung Casa Pia

- Die Unterkunft verfügt nicht über 4 Zimmer. Es gab nur 2 Schlafzimmer und ein „gefangenes“ sehr kleines Zimmer mit einem 140 cm breiten Bett. Ganz fehlte ein Wohnzimmer! In der Küche gab es ein Tisch mit 4 Stuhlen auf engstem Raum. - Es fehlten an verschieden Deckenstellen Verputz. - Der Zugang zum Haus war ein schmaler und unbeleuchteter Fusspfad, der sehr vereist war und nicht mit Kieselsteinen belegt um ein ungefährdeteres Gehen zu ermöglichen. + Die Lage und Nähe zum Ortsbus war sehr gut.

Ferienhaus in Zermatt

Zwar nah den Bahnen gelegen, aber auf dem Rückweg ist ein ordentlicher Anstieg zu überwinden. Insgesamt dennoch empfehlenswert.

war okay, jedoch war einiges nicht ganz so wie gew

Leider waren einige Dinge defekt. Dampfabzug zum Kochen konnte nicht gebraucht werden, war schmutzig und wohl schon länger nicht mer in guten Zustand. Auch andere sachen mussten zuerst repariert werden. Auch die Pfannen sind in sehr schlechtem Zustand, so konnten wir nich einmal ein Ei darin braten. Alles klebte an der Pfanne.
