Port View Cottage in Shaldon is a charming riverside retreat, perfect for two people and their furry friend, offering a cozy and pet-friendly getaway in a picturesque coastal village.. All on the Ground Floor:

Front garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. No smoking. . Superb panoramic views of the estuary and direct access to the foreshore make Port View a perfect place for your holiday. Early birds can enjoy breakfast in the courtyard style garden overlooking the beach. At low tide you can watch oystercatchers and little egrets feeding on shellfish just offshore, and at high tide when the weather is warm enough, you can swim below the garden wall. Port View is only a few minutes’ walk from the village shops and from the village green, the hub of many activities through the summer. A pleasant walk along the sea wall brings you to the sandy beach. Here you will find the historic ferry, which crosses the river to Teignmouth every fifteen minutes in high season (when tidal conditions permit) where there is a wide range of water sports available. Music lovers will appreciate the many live music venues clustered around the harbour.
Shaldon offers a fine variety of restaurants and pubs where you can enjoy a leisurely meal or a drink in the sun.
