We have an excellent stay at mill cottage. The cottage was perfect as was the location. We visited Bamburgh regularly as well as Seahouses and holy island. The Wi-Fi does drop out occasionally but overall I would absolutely recommend a stay at Mill cottage
Very much enjoyed my stay. Very clean and well equipped. Great comfortable beds. Good location for getting about.

Lovely cosy cottage, quiet location despite being on a main road through the village.Had to ask for check in details the day before as I hadn't received them.Misled about wood available for an initial burn - there wasn't any - we'd brought our own but didn't have enough for every night we stayed.Bedroom and shower room were excellently appointed. No spare kitchen cupboard to pop our own groceries into. Fridge was difficult to get to with the vacuum cleaner and mop/bucket in the way - and the door opened the wrong way!But it wouldn't stop us staying here again.
Cottage freezing and smelled fusty. Promised starter pack for wood burner non existent. Cottage slightly grubby, dining chairs and double bed thick with dirt. Only one tea towel, no hand wash in bathroom and no spare bin liners. Just one toilet roll for the week. No cupboard space for our own food. No constant hot water. Bed mattress topper stained as was the duvet. We were sorely disappointed after previous wonderful cottage holidays. Would not recommend for anyone.
