THE SPACE
Welcoming babies, children, pets, and toddlers, the house is perfect for hosting friends and family in a safe neighbourhood with a village atmosphere. Guests will be able to enjoy open spaces, trendy boutiques, great bars and restaurants and easy access to the Thames path, which is just a short stroll away.

Kitchen
The kitchen/diner is an open, bright, tastefully designed living area leading out into the family garden. It is perfect for a household who enjoy cooking and socialising, with a breakfast bar and a dining table, bench and 6 dining chairs. It is fully equipped with knives, pots, pans and cooking equipment, Fisher Paykel double oven and 5 gas burner, Samsung fridge freezer, microwave, hot water tap, Nespresso machine, wine fridge and air conditioning.
Living areas
The entrance level living room is decorated in a contemporary style, but still retains original Victorian features with a beautiful bay window and traditional fireplace.
Two more living rooms provide guests with cosy spaces to socialise; one with comfy seating and a 65-inch TV and access to the terrace and a third bright, informal seating area in the kitchen/diner, which is perfect for mingling while dinner is being prepared.
Bedrooms
Four bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements and are decorated in soft colours to create mindful, restful areas and all have desks for anyone that is working from home. The main suite at the top of the house has a super-king-size bed and attractive ensuite.
The second bedroom has a king size bed and the third and fourth have spacious double beds. The family bathroom has a bath and integrated shower, toilet, twin basins, and a beautiful stained-glass window.
The house is equipped for children and babies, with a travel cot, highchair, baby bath and selection of games, puzzles and books. There is step free access from the street and the hall is wide enough for a single or double pushchair.
All beds have quality pillows, mattresses and linen and we have a small library of London guide books.
Outside space
There is a family-friendly garden, with a patio and bistro dining set, a large lawn and a BBQ for guests use. There is also a roof terrace, which is an ideal spot for a summer evening. Children should not be left alone on the roof terrace.
THE LOCATION
Nestled in a bend on the River Thames, Bishop’s Park is an attractive neighbourhood in genteel Fulham, less than 5 miles away from central London.
The area has a village atmosphere and there are an abundance of local shops, chic boutiques and independent bars, delis and restaurants on your door step, yet the theatres, museums, art galleries and other attractions of the capital are just 20 minutes away by tube.
Destinations in central London can be reached by the London Underground from either Putney Bridge on the District line or Hammersmith on the Piccadilly line. Both stations are serviced by buses which depart frequently from the end of the road and take only a few minutes or it is a very scenic 20 minute walk along the river to both stations.
The house is very well located for guests that enjoy sporting events. Football fans are a short distance from Craven Cottage, home to Fulham Football Club and Stamford Bridge, home to Chelsea FC is also easily reached. Queen's Club, where the cinch Championships Tennis takes place in June is a pleasant walk away and you can enjoy several river events throughout the year, including the annual boat race between Oxford and Cambridge Universities, which starts minutes away at Putney Bridge.
Lovers of nature can easily cross the river and explore the wide-open spaces and sights and sounds of the London Wetland Centre. You can take a stroll along the beautiful footpaths that lead along the banks of the Thames and find a historic little pub for a spot of lunch, before heading to the Kings Road in Chelsea for some designer shopping.
Bishop's Park, with its lovely views over the river, is just 10 minutes walk away. It has a number of play and picnic areas for families with young children as well as tennis courts, basket ball hoops, a small skateboard area and a thriving farmer's market selling fresh quality local foods on Sundays. The vibrant Teahouse, in a wonderful heritage building, is open everyday offering hot drinks, tasty treats and ice cream.
The museum, historic rooms, café and small but perfectly formed botanical gardens of nearby Fulham Palace are open daily and free to visit. You can explore the paintings, archaeology and history of the former home of the Bishops of London.
