About this property

Welcome to a cozy mezzanine apartment 1 minute walk from stunning view on the Prague Castle and just 3 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge. Even-though you are right in the city centre, close to the restaurants, bars and pubs, the apartment itself is very calm.

As fair and legal hosts we collect the obligatory tourist tax from each guest of 50 CZK (approx. €2) per night.

It is perfect apartment for couples to enjoy romantic stay in Prague, but it is also suitable for up to 4 friends. We are on the 2nd floor without an elevator. Your home has a full-equipped kitchen, living room with foldable sofa-bed and TV, a restroom downstairs and a very cozy attic bedroom with en-suite bathroom upstairs.

The history of the house goes far back to the 15th century. It's been renovated multiple times since then but the original spirit remains. The house is called as the sign at the front facade suggests: "House by the golden ship".

I absolutely love this apartment. It has been my home for many years, which I hope shows in the atmosphere and will now serve you as your perfect Prague home.

microwave, fridge, kettle, cooker, washing machine (it didn't´t fit to the bathroom :-), instant coffee, several types of tea, sugar, salt & pepper, paper towels, cutlery and dishes, cups and glasses.

BATHROOM AND TOILET (Separated - toilet is downstaires and shower upstairs)

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The apartment is located in the very center of Prague. Charles Bridge is 3 minutes by walk. Old town Square and Wenceslav squere 10 minutes by walk. Actually you can walk to the Prague Castle if you wish - it is a beautiful walk which i recomend. So you will not need public transport very often. Yet, the tram Karlovy lazne is 2 min walk, and the tram and metro station (Narodni trida, Staroměstská) are 5-10 min walk.

Airport is 30 min by car, and 48 min by publíc transport.
The main railway is 9 min by car, 20 min by walk and 28 min by publíc transport.
Bus station is 10 min by car, 21 min by public and 30 min walk.

PARKING

That is the tricky one :-) Unfortunately there is no free parking possibility in the Prague centre, but fortunately 10 minutes by walk from the apartment there is possibility to park your car for approx. 27 EUR for the first day and any other day for 18 EUR.
