About this property

Maison village dans le Luberon

A holiday in its truest form, Saignon is the ideal location to visit the nearby cities of Provence and some of its most pictoresque villages, the unique nature of Luberon, with its yet alive traditions. To us, and for those of you who are looking for the same, peace and quietness are found in this tiny village, with its liveliest corner being the bakery and its morning chit-chat and the kids playing by the church, on which facade you'll see every sunset from our terrace .

We are a family from Italy who fell in love with Saignon and enjoy spending our own holidays here. This is our home and we hope to share it with people who see it as we do. We own a small winery on Lake Garda called Le Chiusure.

Why they chose this property

Our deep affection for the work of Albert Camus originally guided us to the Luberon. However, it was the breathtaking hilltop village of Saignon that made us want to stay. We fell completely in love with its authentic atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

The windows open directly onto the church square and village life: right in the historic heart of Saignon, our property stands out because it is not just a rental, but a true, loving "home." We took great care in designing the interiors ourselves, keeping the historic character intact, re-introducing or recovering the traditional terracotta floors and adding personal touches that make the space unique.
