Gene's home in Oaxaca is amazing. This was our second stay, and there's a good reason we keep coming back. The house is impeccable and even better than described, making it perfect for our family vacation.We especially appreciated that each bedroom has access to its own full bathroom, which made the home comfortable and convenient for everyone. We rented a car to explore the surrounding sites and villages around Oaxaca, so the secure garage with an automatic door opener was a very welcome amenity and made getting in and out incredibly easy.Most importantly, the views of Santo Domingo are wonderful. Whether enjoying breakfast in the morning or dinner in the evening, the setting is truly special and one of the things that keeps drawing us back to this home.The location couldn't be better. It's just a five-minute walk to Santo Domingo and all the best that Oaxaca Centro has to offer. If you don't feel like cooking, there are countless delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner within walking distance.Communication with Gene was excellent throughout our stay. He was clear, responsive, and easy to work with from start to finish.Perfect house, perfect host, perfect stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Oaxaca.

We had an amazing time at Casa Crespo. The house itself is beautiful; the view of the Santo Domingo de Guzman church from the patio is lovely. The house's closeness to the downtown tourist spots and restaurants was so convenient, but we really enjoyed its location in a quieter area. Our host Gene was outstanding, giving us lots of useful information up front, responding immediately to any questions we had, and recommending excellent drivers for our various activities. Flawless experience!!!!

Fantastic stay!

Apartment is clean, well stocked and has beautiful views. Great location within walking distance of the major spots in Oaxaca. Host is super communicative and helped us arrange taxis and an in-home catered meal. Will definitely return here on our next visit.

Casa Crespo is very conveniently located. We were able to walk to restaurants, the Santo Domingo church, markets, and more. The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed. It exceeded our expectations!

Lovely Oaxaca City home

We enjoyed our stay here immensely. Property was clean and well-maintained, communication with owner was timely and helpful, and location very convenient. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot!

This house was a great pick to stay at! Great location, easy check in with good communication with the host (Gene) making sure everything was going good. Super clean, contemporary and close to just about everything. Would definitely recommend and would stay at again.

Very nice unit that came as advertised. Great location: short walk to numerous cafes and restaurants, beautiful view. Comfortable unit: plenty of space, nice furnishings. Amenities: well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer in a separate room that made laundry very convenient.Gene was a very responsive host; in addition to communicating clearly regarding check in, check out, airport transfer etc, he was very helpful responding to random queries about Oaxaca and the neighborhood.

Great host, great location!

The host, Gene, was one of the most attentive and communicative hosts we’ve ever dealt with. He was very helpful with any questions we had in planning our trip and while we were there. The location was perfect for walking everywhere, and a great view of Santa Domingo! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Jean’s property in Oaxaca! Location was great & we didn’t have to taxi once since it was close to town! House itself is clean and no issue! Highly recommend

This was a wonderful place! I already miss the view of Santa Domingo! The house is well equipped and has plenty of space. Everything was clean and in great condition. Other than this being one of the nicest VRBOs I’ve stayed in, Gene, the host, has to be the best host I’ve ever had. He communicated before our stay with numerous recommendations and was prompt to reply during our stay. It really made it easy and most enjoyable! Thank you Gene! Such a gem!

Casa Crespo - Excellente

Three couples stayed here comfortably for two weeks and really enjoyed the experience. This is a secure, well designed, maintained and located modern home. It was the first trip to Oaxaca for everyone and host Gene was super responsive and very informative on all things local to simplify and maximize our visit. Highly recommend.

Perfect home and location

We all enjoyed our stay at Casa Crespo. Everything was exactly as described. I loved that all the Oaxacan highlights were in walking distance but it was easy to get a taxi when we wanted. It was located on a quiet street far enough from the louder parts of town. We would definitely return to this home on future visits.

Great Stay

The home is as nice as it looks in the pictures. Very cozy! It was well stocked with basic appliances and even had a few extras in the cupboards. The view of the cathedral each morning and night was great; each day presenting a new look!

Oaxaca VRBO Stay

Excellent location. Close to Zócalo, great restaurants, neighborhood market & “andador touristico”. Property was so nice & comfortable. Offers many extra amenities like a nice laundry room, private office, & outdoor area. Each of us had our own bathroom. Highly recommend for you stay in Oaxaca!
