The facilities provided were generally ok but could be improved here and there. Electric radiators were effective once switched on although sitting room one was not adjustable. There was no fuel left for stove which was unexpected. The microwave didn’t work properly - mechanism to turn food wasn’t working so not suitable for reheating meals. Inconvenient. Fridge had bits in it and some ice cubes left inside. I only found out about lock on rubbish store by chance from a neighbour. Instructions about rubbish disposal were inadequate and nothing about recycling so I didn’t attempt any. I removed a number of cobwebs from windows and bottom of bin in kitchen should be thoroughly cleaned between guests. The key safe on door wouldn’t open without using a Swiss Army knife! A relative recently had same problem so this should be fixed. We found patio door unlocked when we arrived. With great difficulty we got it locked but couldn’t unlock it later so couldn’t use back garden area at all. On a positive note (at last!) the beds were very comfortable and the hot water had good availability!
