Lough Conn which boasts wonderful trout fishing is just a short drive away, as is the River Moy in Ballina one of the most productive Salmon fishing rivers in Europe with recorded catches of 5,000 salmon on rod and line in a single season.

There are several quality Golf courses in the area, the nearest being Ballina – or Enniscrone Links course overlooking the Atlantic.
