Quiet retreat

The cottage was built around the early 16th century and although modernised upstairs, it retains a lot of historic furniture and decorations downstairs which add to its character. Despite its close proximity to the main road it is a quiet retreat in large wooded grounds. The kitchen is equipped with beautiful Portmeirion pottery and coffee and tea is provided. The beds were so comfy with wonderfully soft Duvets and pillows giving us some of the best sleep we have had.The owner was very friendly and helpful and made our stay extremely good.
