Our stay at Villa Fouli was excellent. The villa is clean and well equipped, and the hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. The room in the villa are all a good size and spread across 3 floors. The villa has with its own good sized pool and was kept clean throughout. The villa is in the foot hills away from the coast and busy beaches. You will need a car, but the position of the villa is such that either the north or south cost beaches are available, at approximately 20 or 40 minutes drive respectively. There are also shops and tavernas with a few minutes drive, including multiple super markets.

Amazing Authentic Greek Villa

We stayed at Villa Fouli for three weeks in July/August. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and kept the place very clean. Location was just a bit further out than I had expected but accommodations great. I would definitely recommend! My son really enjoyed the pool also very clean. Just a short 15 minute drive o Rethymno.

An excellent property and amazing hosts!The property is spacious, in an excellent condition and immaculately clean. It is very well laid out. The views are amazing. The area is very quiet. Bigger towns with plenty of touristy infrastructure are easily accessible within 20 minutes by car. However, on a daily basis, there is no need to go that far: within a few minutes drive, there is a good selection of restaurants and cafes which are less touristy and more authentic than the ones at the coast. Also, very decent mini markets, supermarkets, bakeries etc are near by.Most amazing, however, were our hosts: they were unbelievably helpful, supportive, generous, friendly, genuinely welcoming and warm-hearted. Whenever something was not quite perfect, they immediately put things right. This did not stop with things around the villa: when our wheelchair broke, they quickly found somebody who could weld it for us immediately and accompanied us to the workshop! No idea what we would have done without these awesome hosts! They live near by, so there is always somebody available - but they are never intrusive.
